The main reason Oda delayed Jimbei joining the crew was simply because he was too strong, lol. Jimbei is probably as strong as Zoro and Sanji at this level. It would have broken up the Monster Trio, so it wasn't possible. (Although the Monster Trio didn't exactly give it their all against the weaklings they faced in this arc.) And there you have it, Shirahoshi is the Ancient Weapon Poseidon! There are three Ancient Weapons: Pluton (which Crocodile wanted and whose blueprints the Tom's Workers possessed), Poseidon (Shirahoshi), and Uranus (still unknown). All of this is connected to the One Piece and the Void Century.

I’m actually surprised “Poseidon” is mentioned. Is “Neptune” his real name or is it also a given name like Shirahoshi’s? And I don’t understand how the prophecy was made. Were there princesses before the one with Joyboy having the same power or was she the first princess? And if so then how did she create her own prophecy for later? Or how did Joyboy create his own prophecy for Noah to set sail later? Like how did he make it certain that many time later the ship will set sail, like how did he know that? It’s not like he’s God himself and knows the future past. It’s not like he has the time-time fruit. They say he’s normal human then how did he create his own prophecy? How is he certain a future person is destined for his own intentions?

It’s true though, instead of having a reason story wise to delay Jimbei’s integration to the crew he delays it for a reason outside of the story makes it bad writing, and you know that it’s no secret One Piece has bad writing everyone knows that, isn’t that why they’re remaking One Piece again? Wasn’t it till Marineford? Didn’t they remake Fishman island too? Isn’t it a reason why Lucky’s friend chose to explain the show to him before? Do you think it was because of how good the writing was? If you accept complements you’ve also got to accept criticism it’s not a bad thing. There's a reason for the delay in his integration in-universe. He said he had something to work out. Something that will be addressed later in an important arc! It's not about stopping you from giving your opinion, and you know that perfectly well. I just find it annoying when someone posts ten messages just to get attention. Do you want us to laugh at your comments or what? This guy wants to do stand-up comedy about Lucky's reactions to One Piece. One Piece isn't just my favorite manga. It's the most popular manga on the planet. And Oda is known for the incredible odyssey he's written over almost 30 years. So, the comments like "One Piece sometimes has bad writing," I want to say yes. Because no work on the planet is flawless. I have my problems with some elements of the manga. But Oda creates a work that you wouldn't be able to produce even if you tripled your IQ. He has even been risking his health for years. He takes breaks regularly because he's finding it increasingly difficult to keep up the pace (while refusing to rush the end TOO much). So stop your stand-up routine, comment intelligently, and let people enjoy the adventure in peace.

Joao Faria, I’m commenting on shit I saw. Of course they’ll be answered in a thousand years when One Piece finishes. You’re telling me that no one should ask questions on what they’re seeing now because it’ll be answered later, no shit I’ll be answered later. Even if you watch One Piece weekly on the latest episodes or manga, of course things will be answered after Oda decides to release them in new episodes or manga chapters. You’re calling them idiotic questions cause you’re caught up I think it’s 600 episodes ahead, but when you were watching this episode when it came out and this was the latest, you wouldn’t have called it idiotic questions. You’re calling them idiotic because they’re “clearly answered later on — like the whole Joy Boy issue” and how am I supposed to know this?How am I supposed to know that this particular question has already been clearly answered now? Not sure about my youur confused on the whole Neptune/Poseidon thing? The knigs name is Neptune in the same way that Shirahoshis name is Shirahoshi. ‘Poseidon’ is basically a code name for ‘Mermaid that can control Sea Kings’. Its honestly pretty simple. I also think you might be over thinking the concept of ‘Prophecy’ . Joy Boy wasnt the one that said “sometime in the future someone will make Noah set sail.” All he did was apologise for not being able to his promise. The prophecy itself though is just like any other anime prophecy. If you think to hard about “how” or “why” its able to be made you’ll drive yourself mad. Anime Prophecies are a trope you either like or you dint like (and speaking personally; i don’t like them) Its not a One Piece thing after all, its an anime thing. If you can point me to a single anime that contains a prophecy that has more detail then “a long time ago, a person made a prophecy on what will happen, and then it comes true” then I will be shocked.

Oh it’s just that both are Greek gods so I was pointing out the irony that both Neptune and Poseidon (Shirahoshi) exist at the same time I thought something might be going on. Because they called the king “God of the Sea” I thought some connection exists. Oh so Joyboy didn’t know about the prophecy, but the sea kings and everyone else knew, but not Joyboy himself, that’s strange isn’t it? And yeah you’re right, I haven’t thought about this before but they don’t really try to make sense of Anime prophecies it’s just a trope that’s always assumed without reason.🤔

Oda actually gave the rankings for who can drink most to least in the crew, I won't say the details as it wasn't released until much later, but Nami can drink about as much as Zoro. We saw this in Whiskey Peak (where Zoro fought against 100 people) when Nami did a drinking competition and only pretended to faint but she was actually fine.

Hear me out: What they should've done, which I know people in anime almost never do, because it's more interesting to watch when there's a struggle, is gang up on him. If a couple of them did something, Luffy's job would've been significantly easier.
