Blue buddy

Thank you for the uploads lucky and note he didn’t take the straw hats hearts he just swapped there bodies by swapping there souls there isn’t really a explanation for it you just got to accept that something law can do

Nicholas Kent

Smoker isn't all that strong. His Devil Fruit isn't actually that impressive because it doesn't give him any offensive attacks (Hence the importance of his weapon). His strategies are always based on surprise attacks, his limbs emerging from a cloud of smoke and all that. It worked very well against the weaker pirates of East Blue, like pre-timeskip Luffy (I don't know what you were talking about with Luffy manhandling Smoker xD). Except now, he's up against post-timeskip Law! You missed some details, though. Smoker told Tashigi she couldn't fight Law because her Haki is too weak. The statement itself reveals several things: 1/ Tashigi has Armament Haki 2/ Law also has it, but his is stronger. This explains why she was cut in two despite using Haki 3/ Smoker obviously also has Armament Haki since he's stronger than Tashigi and capable of fighting Law 4/ Law managed to steal Smoker's heart because his Haki is more powerful. "Law vs Smoker and Tashigi" is the first post-timeskip fight between characters possessing Haki. It's funny that you never considered the fact that Law must have developed Armament Haki. He was presented to us as one of Luffy's rivals, so it's the least we could expect

Philip

Luffy dream: Pirate King Zoro dream: Strongest Swordsman Tashigi dream: collect all the legendary swords I think Tashigi has the hardest dream 😂 She has to defeat Zoro and Mihawk

Philip

Yes the gas guy is the same VA for Kurotsuchi and Frieza in sub

g27

16:30 Technically Franky should perform at his peak because he won’t thermal throttle🤣

g27

Law looks like Levi, has the VA of Levi, and his powers are slice and dice. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had the same backstory as Levi too lol.

g27

Damn why does she have that dream? Lol collect all the legendary swords and then what? Just nothing? Is there something I’m missing or is that actually it?

Blue buddy

She doesn’t want pirate who she believes are all criminals to have the legendary swords

g27

Oh okay makes sense, but what about Mihawk, he isn’t a pirate, never was, does she have intentions of getting his sword from him too?

Philip

Mihawk technically is a pirate because the warlords are all pirates who've had their bounties frozen by the world government. Mihawk is kind of a rare case since he has no crew, but he is still a villain that Tashigi would probably want his sword. Kuma is also an example of a pirate with no crew

Liberationpocket

Lucky you may have forgotten but those three huge "giants" that were in the Florian Triangle on the sea were actually the shadows of the Shandians of Skypiea. Their shadows were magnified because of how high they were in the sky. I can't remember what episode exactly explained that but it was either during or after Skypiea arc.

g27

How is Mihawk a pirate? He’s a swords man, like a samurai, but he isn’t, or like a knight, but he isn’t, or like a musketeer, which he looks like because French you know lol? Mihawk never went to a village and cut their throats and stole their gold and stuff, actual piracy. He’s just a man who’s working with himself on his sword and wants to become the strongest swordsman in swordsmanship, didn’t terrorize anyone, why does the world government want a bounty on him TF? My man didn’t do anything wrong😭

Kevin Cahua

Don’t forget to get good rest! 🙏🙌❤️

AccordingToLucky

It was never confirmed that, u guys told me that, they just showed a huge shadow of Luffy jumping at the end of the arc, so people asume its that. But it was never really confirmed

AccordingToLucky

Well actually, i expect him to have it, thats why i didnt say anything lol In fact, what i forgot is that not everyone has it lol Well i guess u need to train the two and conquerrors is a different story.

Nicholas Kent

You're damn right. In the New World, Armament and Observation Haki are as common as Devil Fruit. But yeah Conqueror is an other story. Rayleigh has warned us ;)

Krowft

You mention for "justice" and "duty", but those things are not only subjective, but as a Marine, likely dictated by their employment anyway. So rescuing Ace likely would have gone against Garp's sense of "duty" and possibly "justice", since he was a notorios pirate that has actually commited multiple crimes, and even Luffy says that all is fair game in the world of pirates. So if smoker was in the same situation as Garp, would he have rescued Ace? Don't know.. he likely would have done the same thing (nothing) due to his sense of "justice and duty".

Krowft

You're mixing up different scenes. There was a giant shadow shown just before going to skypeia, that was confirmed to be Shandian shadows from Skypeia. But much later on, there were also giant shadows shown at Thriller Bark in the fog, and THOSE were never confirmed what they were, but likely had nothing to do with Skypeia.

Krowft

I don't think he physically took their hearts, we only saw the "hearts" swap places with each other. I think it just left the impression that he took them because they had just mentioned how he took 100 pirate hearts not long ago, but I'm pretty sure he just did something to scramble their personalities.

Krowft

Even good pirates are still pirates. They might have more honour, and are less likely to harm indiscriminately, but even Luffy commits crimes all the time, he stole food in Alabasta, he stole treassure in Skypeia (the Skypeian's were willing to give it to him but he didn't know that as he was running away as fast as he could with the stolen treassure), and he even has a known cat-burglar on his team (who stole the wallets of all the actual innocent people in her village). So they might be "good" pirates, but they definitely still commit crimes, so Smoker is not wrong when he says that. Smoker might be commiting a violation entering Punk Hazard, but you could say he's in "hot pursuit" of a criminal, which would likely have different legal implications in his situation depending on how the law works in one piece.

Philip

Sorry, I forgot to reply. Let’s just say he has a history, the trouble he caused them gets revealed waaaaay later

g27

I heard before in the Patreon comments someone said that Oda said if he were to powerscale Enel, then if Enel was known to the world government he would’ve had a bounty of 500,000,000… but Enel isn’t a pirate, so what’s going on? lol Why the world government have him WANTED? He literally has no play in piracy, he doesn’t want the One Piece, he doesn’t want to set sail, he doesn’t want to destroy the World Government. Why if the World Government found out of his existence they would have him wanted? TF? Let my man live on his ivory tower in the island, he doesn’t want out lol.

g27

Is not paying for your parking meter a crime? Yes. Is it justice to kill you? No. Were Ace’s crimes deserved of him being killed? No. Did Ace deserve to be killed? No. Is it justice to kill someone who doesn’t deserve to be killed? No. Did Garp follow his duty or justice?

Philip

Oda answered hypothetically if he were to become a pirate, his bounty could reach as much as 500,000,000. Enel also terrorized Skypiea, indiscriminately attacking all parties there. Even if he’s not after the one piece, if he did that in the blue sea in a world government affiliated nation, he would at least be a criminal that the navy would have to pursue and assign him a bounty. Like members of the revolutionary army can have bounties, not just pirates. Like Dragon’s epithet is literally the Worlds Worst Criminal, you just know he’s gotta have a crazy bounty

g27

But Enel is doing it in his own nation, the world government doesn’t own that place and doesn’t have jurisdiction over it. Did you mean that if Enel did it on World Government territory they’d give him that bounty? If so then it’s not about whether they know of his existence or not.

Philip

Yes exactly if he were to do that on WG territory, because Skypiea is not affiliated with them, they don’t know he even exists, so that was part of the hypothetical

Krowft

What? Ace wasn't being killed for not paying a parking meter... You have a false notion in your head that Ace was a super polite-good guy.. We saw that since before he was even a pirate he would brutally beat up people who spoke bad about roger.. Many of those people were completely innocent. *edit because I pressed enter by accident lol* You think he stopped commiting those crimes when he set out to sea? You know he became notorious before he joined whitebeard. He even fought Jimbei who was representing whitebeard and Jimbei at the time was most defintely doing more good than Ace (only became a pirate to help out fishman island and most of his actions were with them in mind, avoiding any crimes where possible and even became a warlord for good reasons). I like Ace, and he's definitely overall good, but I would definitely not trust him to not be reckless, not commit crimes, and cause millions in colateral damage (his fire fruit can cause a lot of damage to towns very easily). In places that have the death penalty, if we include all of his crimes put together he would defintely be considered for it, even ignoring the political push to kill him due to being related to Roger

Krowft

She explained that she does not want to see those famous swords in the hands of criminals who will commit crimes with them, so the only way to avoid that (in her mind) is to collect them all herself.

g27

Mihawk doesn’t seem like a trouble maker to me. There’s a lot of weird things about him. He has no ambition, he’s bored, he isn’t interested in becoming the king of pirates, the one piece, nothing, he just wants to read his newspaper. You don’t become the world’s strongest swordsman like that, with no determination, you don’t become in that world with such a personality. I feel he used to have a goal and strong ambition, but he now lost his drive, like he changed his goal midway through, or near the end actually. Right? Because you’re telling me stuff that don’t resonate with his character and personality, a trouble maker??

Krowft

Bounties aren't placed on only pirates, or international criminals.. The mountain bandits local to Luffy's homeland had their own bounties. The Gov places bounties on anyone threatening them or any countries in their protection, it's one big reason to join the Gov Nations, because the marines will now protect you, even provide support against local threats. Dragon is known as the "world's most wanted man", we can infer from this that he likely has the highest bounty, but he is not a pirate, he's a revolutionary, but that's not relevant for the bounty system. Also, as far as we know the warlords are all pirates, simialr to real life "privateers" that were gov-sanctioned pirates. We don't have the backstories for all of them, but we were told they were all pirates when they were introduced so we can expect that Mihawk was a pirate.

g27

Mihawk a Pirate?😭 I can’t put these two together, I’ll have to wait and see them show me in the episodes a flash back of Mihawk committing Piracy. It’s difficult to imagine the scenarios LOL.

Philip

People change as they grow, Mihawk probably became this way after he had no one left to challenge him pretty much and he became the strongest swordsman. In his youth however, let's just say he had another epithet besides "Hawk Eyes" that hinted at him not exactly being an upstanding citizen. I don't want to spoil, and most of your questions get answered later in the series

g27

He would beat up people who spoke bad about his father? I thought he hated his dad. And if someone gets into frequent fights, do you throw him in prison, or the dungeon for their world (impel down), or do you kill him? He didn’t kill innocent people fyi. All his crimes put together would punish him by death? Convince me, because the worst I can see is a life sentence.

g27

Yeah “probably”, because that’s a weak goal to have that’ll bring you up to become the World’s Strongest Swordsman! I hope they actually get into this in the show.

Krowft

Years of brutally beating up innocents unprovoked (they had no idea Ace was being offended), to the point of near death (It was commented how some of his victims nearly died) Rampant theft since childhood (both as a child when he stole food with Ace and Sabo, and even later when he stole food in Alabasta as an adult, and many times in between, and he didn't just steal food) Massive destruction of property (has sank countless ships, both pirates and non-pirates), a new ship costs about 300 million berries in Water 7 (which is about the equivalent of 3 million dollars in real life). A lot of the ships belonged to shady non-pirates (baroque works), but under the law this doesn't mean your crimes are dismissed. Also destroyed many buildings in his fight with his fire fruit. Has fought against law enforcement and brutally harmed many of them, including fighting against Smoker himself. In many countries, shooting a police officer is considered a worse crime than just shooting a random person, legally speaking. I'm not saying I would want his death penalty, I might even vote to aquit him if I was on the jury, but for anyone representing the marines, and making their decision purely on his rap-sheet, I can defintely see the justification. It's not like he was even repentant after being caught, he continued saying he would attempt to elavate Whitebeard even while in prison and your demeanor in jail is a big influecer on what punishment you may be given in real life.

AccordingToLucky

Sakazuki killed a full ship of innocent people for justice. CD murder, imprisone and enslave people for fun while the admirals protect them. Marines killed a full village of pregnant womena and unborn children just to try and catch Ace like it was a game. Who r the bad guys again? Luffy stole food? OH MY GOD, LET'S HANG HIM AND CALL HIM A PIRATE lol Absurd

AccordingToLucky

U can actually see Smoker gathering intel and trying to make sense of things. One day when he figures out he is actually working for the bad guys, he will not act like Garp. Garp already knows that and still acted the way he did. Smoker turned down credit and told the old geezets to fuck themselves. He is beginning to believe.

Krowft

Oh a lot of the marines aren't good and are corrupt, especially higher up. But that doesn't mean that the pirates are free of crimes. Many MANY police officers and judges and lawyers are massively corrupt in our world, and there are many political prisoners, but generally speaking that doesn't mean we distrust our legal system entirely and dismiss people that have been accused of crimes. But regardless, the One Piece world culture is different to ours, the operation to find Ace before he was born would never have been sanctioned in our world, but it was sanctioned in that world, and many citizens would have happily supported it as long as it didn't affect them.

AccordingToLucky

Was just about to say that, the worlds are so different, its not really comparable.

Krowft

True, but rampant corruption exists in both worlds lol

AccordingToLucky

Yea, the difference is, our people dont have literal power to oppose it, in this world, they do. Thats why there are so many Pirates. U just cant compare it lol U think if i can turn into light and fuck up 90 percent of the world, i would still be a lawyer? Fuck no. I would do whatever i want ( without harming anyone ), but would probably still be labeled a pirate in their world. Like Mihawk for example. Im yet to see him be a bad dude at all lol He doesnt even have a crew? lol He is just strong 🤣

g27

Mihawk fights cuz the World Government keep him as a Worlord and tell him to swing, but if the WG wasn’t breathing down his neck I bet you he would just go back to reading a newspaper.😭 I guess they force him to become their asset or else he’s going to be wanted 24/7 on the lookout, can’t go shopping in peace lmao. I bet you he’s stronger than all the admirals, out of all the strongest characters in this show, Mihawk is the only one who has no scars.

g27

Fighting the marines and destroying their ships is justifiable because they attack him and try to kill him, is he supposed to sit by and get slapped? No he wouldn’t allow them to get a chance at killing him so he destroys their ships it makes sense. When he was stealing as a kid, most of it can be dismissed as childish mischief, they want to play pirate and collect treasure, which is minor offense, but remember when Ace was desperate to steal medicine to save Dadan’s life? That can easily be explained. He really did put innocent people on the brink of death for no reason? If that’s true then I did have a false notion of him being a super polite-good guy. Was this shown in the show and I missed it or is it third party lore that the anime fell short with?

Maks Lesniewski

Ceasar Clown's VA is actually both Kurotsuchi AND Frieza.
