Nicholas Kent

Luffy isn't stupid this time. He accepted Law's alliance because he wants to give himself the best chance of defeating an Emperor and moving forward. Of course, his logic is laced with humor regarding his view of what an alliance is. But he understood perfectly well. It's like at Sabaody when the crew was getting wiped out; he's foolish, but he also knows how to be pragmatic

Philip

speaking of epic voice actors, Law is also Levi from AOT

Blue buddy

You know the English Va of law is also the English Va of Levi

Philip

I did not know that, that's sick!

g27

How can law be so confused by the crew’s behaviors if his crew is the same. Remember that panda that sleep talks? And his crew acting funny before the time skip? His crew is literally the same it’s just that most of them are humans.

g27

Why does Robin want to learn so much about history? Does she have something particular she wants to do with that information?

Nicholas Kent

Ah yes! xD He's an idiot, but he knows how to be observant and pragmatic when necessary.

Joao Faria

That’s explained in their backstory. Didn’t you watch the Enies Lobby arc?

g27

I started at Marineford😅😅, rewatching 500 episodes feels daunting especially that Oda acknowledges how bad the pacing was to the point they’re remaking it. If I watch from the beginning I’m going to miss out on with you guys watching along side Lucky now.

AccordingToLucky

Robins dream is to find out about the void century ( a time before 700 years ago that nobody knows anything about, cuz its forbidden by the government, which is why her whole clan got wiped out except for her ). That secret is stored on those stone tablets, thats why she's so interested.

g27

Why does she want to find out about the void century? What does she want to do with that information?

AccordingToLucky

Her clan was known for holding the knowledge of the world. They already found out about the Void Century and got killed for it. She was too young to know. Now she wants to expose the government by finding out that secret and achieve what her clan died for

g27

Oh she’s trying to expose the world government, so the world government knows what it did in that period, so it has that information, so she theoretically can get all that info directly from the world government if she’s a part of them, like in disguise, like a double agent, but practically this would be too difficult for her, unless she has a pawn doing it for her, like how Dragon has non pirates working in the World Government and report back on info, Law is doing the same but he won’t be trusted to that level by them because he’s a pirate. She was with Dragon for two years though. But she’d need someone strong that can climb the ranks to reach admiral level right? I don’t think admirals have that info though, it’s not like celestial dragons have that info too, they look retarded, maybe they just have access to that info. Maybe Garp has access to that info LOL.

AccordingToLucky

Only the 5 Elders know i think. The very top of the govrnment. The Celestial Dragons type people

g27

They must teach it to someone, if they’re elders and close to death and know someone is going to inherit their position, it’s someone of their choice, it’s information they were taught it’s not like they lived through the void century, meaning they teach this to some people. So if someone reaches their level of trust and gets that info, they can expose the truth. But it can’t be a pirate, it needs to be someone who was born and raised on the servicing of the world government, like a celestial dragon that isn’t retarded, but normal and strong as hell, the only issue with those retarded people is because they’re inbred. Definitely the people that bequeath the 5 elders are normal and strong, just like the 5 elders. So they know how important it is to have normal healthy minded and bodied celestial dragons that will inherit their positions, but they allow the inbreeding of the other celestial dragons that become retarded. It feels intentional, right? So they’re the only celestial dragons that have a healthy mind and get that void century secret info. They don’t allow the inbreeding on themselves, but they don’t stop the celestial dragons from doing so, and they keep that agenda for them, “they can’t breathe the same air as other people, they can’t breed with other people”, the 5 elders don’t do this though, even though they’re celestial dragons. So maybe the best way to get that info is for someone to reach their level and they teach that person, like a mole🤔 Because it feels like she’s relying on the universal luck and coincidence of finding something of some value that she can hopefully decipher.

“He’s smart!” Bruh Luffy’s alive under the will of the author. He ain’t smart, he’s not dead by his stupidity because the author makes him live. We can see Luffy die ten times but comeback because the author writes the next chapter with him breathing. Caribou’s brother was at the bottom of the ocean and was still alive because the author just said so. Luffy’s retarded because we know that even as an adult, he’ll always act like this, he’ll never change.
