I honestly don’t understand why OPM is even liked, I actually thought people liked it as a parody but it turned out they were serious. Isn’t the story that the MC is the strongest person in the universe without a reason? I heard people say Solo Leveling is the same idea, the MC is just the strongest person in the world for no reason, literally people say it’s carried by the action sequences and events. It’s like demon slayer, the animation carries more value than the story. lol

Solo leveling is not the same.

Ashish Kumar said: “1. MC is the most boring part of Solo Leveling story. He feels overpowered from very early on, even if he still is in a growing stage. He overall feels dull as a char. 2. Unfairness in the design of the world is also not fun. No side char is ever gonna grow. It kills any potential for rivalries, competition, or organic character growth. It's one thing to wonder for a viewer if this x or y char will get stronger and feel relevant, but this show told you right away, they are all fodder and stepping stones for MC, as they are all stuck at their level. Any other char fighting, or just existing on the screen, has my interest more than Jin. Even that is shadowed by the fact that they are all fodder in a sense, sooner or later. A side char gets to shine for a couple moments in an ep, gets beat or shown up soon, onto the next char. I know from start any hotshots introduced won't be a hotshot for long and they got lucky with their ranks anyway so there is no sense of respect for them too. No side char matters in the long run so they are mostly background decorations / stepping stones. The only thing left of interest in this show is the world phenomena of gates and the guilds trying to battle them. This isn't the type of show that is up Lucky's alley. How. Lucky likes power fantasy in a story, not necessarily a story in a PURE power fantasy.” At least it’ll finish quickly, it’s only 2 seasons. I hope the fighting is as good as the hype for it.

damn Blackluster is really tough, so far he has been annihilating monsters with ease :D Pig God is a complete freak, would never want to face him :P and ofc Tatsumaki is super OP no wonder she got an ego :) ye Boros from season 1 was definitely the most powerful thus far, Orochi was a monster from our planet so he didnt really have the potential to be on that level, Boros was like Dragon Ball character, it remains to be seen whether there will be another threat as big as he was, thats one of the reasons why Saitama isnt being focused on so much anymore because there is no challenge, its more interesting with the other heroes who might actually struggle :) with Orochi it was supposed to be mainly to play on the running joke that Saitama will simply destroy anybody without a fuss no matter how cool or menacing they seem to be :D we already had the fight with Boros which was pretentious, in the end Saitama could have just ended it with one punch anyway but he was trying to enjoy it cause he was the strongest he ever faced, if there is to be another cool fight then it would have to be with somebody else :) the 1st season looked prettier and was snappier, but it was barely animated, it was mostly a slideshow, but they added effects and kept switching the frames faster so it wasnt super obvious that there is a lack of animation, they were clever there, here they didnt use those tricks cause they most likely didnt have the time :) and ye season 3 part 2 is apparently planned for next year so we shall see :D dont believe its gonna be well animated cause anime just isnt well animated 99% of the time but hopefully its edited nicely xD

OPM has a very good plot, thats why people like it. Murata's version of the manga is god level art, and that helps a lot.

I can’t say anything about the plot I haven’t watched it, but what good does the plot do if the idea and essence of the story is nonsensical and bad? It’s like saying Boruto has a good plot, but the story itself isn’t really good no matter how good the writing and plot is right? AOT had a good story but the writing and plot in S4 was bad, are you getting at what I’m trying to convey? The manga’s drawings is what people like a lot about it, it’s like Demon Slayer and Ufotbale’s animation, I just watch demon slayer to witness that art piece idc so much what happens in the story lol.
