Senior Pink best men in OP.

Violet is Scarlet’s sister which means she is Rebecca’s aunt!

During Doflamingo's first appearance, Sengoku told him he doesn't think of him as more than a mere pirate, so the admirals definitely don't think of him as a Celestial Dragon. Also, saying he's not a Celestial Dragon isn't really defending him, it's just stating a fact. As for how he was able to influence Cipher Pol...I'm genuinely confused about that as well.

Liberationpocket

Yeah some people genuinely believe that Doflamingo is not a Celestial dragon. He literally explained like 10 episodes back that he had the power to do whatever he wanted BECAUSE of his status as a dragon. I think these people are trolling you lmao

AccordingToLucky

He doesnt have the title but still has the power of a CD. In which case, he is even worse than a CD.

Maks Lesniewski

That's what doesn't make sense to me though...The power stems from the title, so without it he shouldn't be able to order the government around like that.

Doflamingo is, in a way, a fallen angel. Hence the nickname of Heavenly demon (he's a little Lucifer lol). He doesn't have the status of a god, but he still benefits from some of their powers. But only some. If he takes a punch from Luffy, no admiral will lift a finger to help him. On the contrary. In the current situation, Fujitora is only protecting Doffy because he's a Shichibukai.

I can't wait for you to see the Doflamingo backstory, not to mention the others that will happen in this arc. This arc drags a bit for sure, but those back stories are straight supa hot fire

Well, as Doffy admitted himself its… complicated XD

Spoilers for later in the arc for anyone thats wants to avoid them- - - but it just hit me reading this comment, but I just realised a perfect analogy even in the context of this arc. (And Im actually pretty sure this is a comparison Oda was wanting to make because now that I think about it, theres actually common themes that permeates a lot of the characters storylines in this arc, and Doflamingo is just one variation of it) Considering Doflamingo a Celestial Dragon is exactly the same as considering Riku the king of Dressrosa. They’ve been ousted from their title, they don’t technically have the ability to claim themselves to be that, and other people with that title also would refuse to acknowledge them in that way. But the people below that? The quote “common folk” that worked underneath you? They will continue to treat you as though you still had that title, because to them, the fact that you had that title at all is the only thing that matters. And like I said: that really is the core theme Odas playing with throughout the arc: People that see things either based on what they were before, or based on what they are now. Its on the toys, its on the Tontattas, its on the Rebecca, its even on Sabo, Senor Pink, and Fujitora. So making a comparison like that is definitely valid.

I always have to chuckle at the fact that because if the anime taking its sweet time, they managed to introduce the One Piece equivalent of a demon possession in episode 666 😂 Plus; how did it take you pointing out that Rommels clock tower looks like Big-Ben to realise its looks that way because Cavendish is a cross between Jekell/Hyde and ‘Jack the Ripper’. I even already knew all three if those things individually, and I didn’t put it together until now lol. (Oh, and incase you’re wondering; no. We never get an explanation on why Cavendish has a serial killer alter ego)
