And that's what I meant the other day when I said that, even if it meant ending the fight with another comedic scene from Usopp, Oda could have gotten there without the fake "I'm outta here" moment! What was the real point of all that? Usopp enters the fray, wins in his own way, and that's it! I also think it's because Oda wanted Usopp to knock Sugar unconscious all by himself... but whatever. Usopp won! And it was obvious. Lucky, I can't even believe you actually thought the plan would fail because of Usopp xD You don't like the character, fine. But still, you could see that the plot was heading in that direction. This is yet another romanticized story that Usopp will tell Kaya when he returns to Syrup Village. Because all of the character's adventures and exploits have this goal

16:55 i think its 16 but whatever, Oda is wilding too much sometimes

Just Oda or all of Japan? xD Cultural difference with the West, I guess

Don’t blame Oda, blame Toei. Oda drawing of female characters are nothing like Toei design. Toei make female characters of new arc just like a new version of Nami with different hair style and color.

But im pretty sure rebecca has the same outfit in the manga, which is clearly fanservice

Nicholas Kent

Yeah. Toei exaggerates a lot, but let's not pretend Oda doesn't draw most of his female characters with his hand down his pants thinking about Nami xD Many female characters resemble Nami or have the same body type: long legs, a small waist, and huge breasts. It's one of Oda's flaws.

He might be failing upwards like Buggy, but he DOES get the credit imo, no one else managed to beat sugar, not even Robin (and she didn't actually fight Trebol like Usopp), and probably no one else would have reacted as violently as him to the grape because of his bitch personality, so she probably only got knocked out because of HIS unique and unexpected reaction. So, he's a bitch that fails upwards, but the credit still goes where it goes. We'll split it half-and-half between him and Sugar, team effort :)
