Hey! Another shout out! :P Yeah, you're right on that, but I feel the length of the arcs is likely a big factor in why it felt so strange; pre-timeskip we had vivi join us from Whiskey Peak (Technically since Laboon), then little garden, then Drum Island, and finally Alabasta which was her actual arc. Though those arcs were a LOT shorter, and we had slightly different info available.

I agree that Jack's devil fruit and appearance are kinda lame, but trust me, he isn't a weakling. However, he isn't the 2nd strongest in Kaido's crew, there are others above him.
