I never really took Rukia seriously. With this episode, she's earned my respect.

Imo it's been on overdrive since ep 2 but to each his own. I don't think you're ready for the rest of this cour and neither am I

Uryu’s reaction was priceless: “Wait a minute…Oh no, are we baddies?”

As much as I love Byakuya, I really do wish he'd have stayed dead precisely for this moment. Having Byakuya show up to save Rukia AGAIN kinda takes away from this moment really being her own. First at the Sokyoku, then again in Las Noches, and now here. For her to step out from his shadow and become her own person, I would have liked to see her come up with a way to counter Tartar Foras on her own and end the fight herself with no assistance. Regardless, they had/have some nice moments together where Byakuya acknowledges her strength.

Omg I’m so glad I’m not the only one who felt this way! Like It’s almost misogynistic to have renji take a Sternritter down on his own but have Byakuya come in to save Rukia. It irritated me to an unprecedented degree 🫠😂

I can see the benefit of having Byakuya alive for this cause he gives her words of wisdom & acknowledges her, but instead of being saved she could've had a flashback of being trained by Byakuya during the timeskip & he could've said those same words & by remembering those moments she'd break out & finish the fight.
