Prem being depressed and slowly withering away on finding out that Pat “died” is kind of like how Sam was in Gap after breaking up with Mon to Marry Kirk where I’m like to Prem’s parents/Sam Grandma how is this the better solution or relationship?

actually in the novel(the secret of us and poisonous love are connected just not in the actual series) it was Fahlada's idea to lie about pat's death so her parents can see how misrable prem was without pat, she was literally almost suicidle(idk how to spell) and the friends revealed the truth a week after the accident so prem actually took care of pat(who was in a coma for 2 weeks) until she woke up and nursed her back to herself basically, idk why they changed the reunion to her already awake and out the hospital, but the parents are at least not that heartless in the novel. anyways to answer your question the special ep will be out in dec 13th.

I felt the same way the first time I watched it about her parents. No redemption! I'm sure she was just exhausted at that point, but she forgave them entirely too quickly for me.

They probably had to change it since the series mentioned nothing of Lada (or Earn). I didn't even realize they were connected until I saw a similar comment on YouTube and looked into it. They apparently took Prem out of TSOU series also. But you know what, im glad they changed it. It would have made me hate Lada and I love her. I already hated Prem's parents, so I was fine with hating them more 🤣🤷🏾‍♀️
