I always suspected this would be an issue… Over a decade of reading Pete’s name on the page has been frightening but uneventful. Unfortunately, as soon as Its foul moniker was played aloud through my phone speaker, shit got real. The undergrowth around my quiet English domicile swirled with whispered threat, reminiscent of the “incantation on tape” scene from The Evil Dead. My cat no longer purrs, but speaks with the voices of a thousand missing children, all calling His name. And finally, I’m pretty certain my neighbours are all staring in my direction at all times, even through walls. I feel with the utmost conviction that none of us are safe… Five tragic milk cartons out of Five, with a bonus Kn’th’rakk Award for hastening the end times through entertainment.

Don Dohler is a god. A GOD, I tell you. Consider "Galaxy Invader", and try to say it ain't so! Also, Dohler is sort-of a home-town boy in a Baltimore area kind of way (so, sort of like John Waters, but with much lower production standards, and yes, I have seen "Pink Flamingos"), so it's a "Think globally but act locally" scenario. And he used Dick Dyszel, Captain 20 on WDCA in the 70s and 80s, in many of his movies. Again, a GOD, but more of a Creature Feature-like host God as opposed to a cinematic God.
