Here we are , here we go!

Workflow:

We had friends at home last 3 days and it slowed down a bit my work scheldule, the last one go tonight, so tomorow back to normal. In the mean time, today ll work on a birthday gift for a friend, last 2 years he always did drawing of my girls, and i never did his once, so, payback time! Don't want to spoil who in case he read here, hope it ll be a nice surprise!
That done 2 HQ reward to do, then the last Vex night, and then comms comms for the 2 next weeks! Got one full colour, 3 sketch colour, 3 sketch and a comics as comms! So 2 weeks should be enough to at least clear the biggest part! If i finish the full colour and the sketches (i should be able to) i reopen comms in September! It's a big IF tough!

The movies

So I went to the cinema twice recently, to see the Odyssey and the new Spiderman movie. Both were good! The Marvel one was quite interesting.. seems they finaly learned how to use colour! I explain myself, when you do a movie you got to calibrate the colour. See for this red to be dulled so it don't mask this character in blue, etc etc.
It's an important job, that would give to the movie it visual identity. But most of time in Marvel movies, those are kinda dulled off. Reason is, many superhero with bright colours costume on same scene, best way to do it quickly is just calibrate them all to not pop out too much, keep it bright, avoid darkness spot.
In the New spiderman, you got flash of bright colour, quite Dark environement etc etc.. there's decisions on the colour part! That's neat, i hope they keep this direction in the future. Scenario wise it was cool, closed some old doors opened, was satisfying, a tad bit fan service, but i was actually surprised by the plot, at least the character behind it, i went to the movie blind mode, just saw one of the first trailer, so i managed to be surprised, was nice! Clearly one of the best marvel done in last 3/4 years in my opinion!.. Tough the concurence isn't that big!
THe Odyssey was nice too, enjoyed this adaptation, there was even some part i genuinely found clever. I know there was some drama around it, by the usual crowd oh whiny peoples on social media, but movie was good. Some peoples i know didn't liked it tough, personally it's a yes, but i would understand the movie don't please everyone. Go make your own opinion i think is the safest option here!

Anime?

Since my new roomate camein, i'ce been watching anime again, mostly at his recomandation. I got a few show i follow now, several are in the making, delivering a new episode weekly, and that i love dearly.
One i've been talking on the discord is The lord with 0 subject.. by the way, this habbit to make anime tittle that aren't a title but a synopsis is really something i dislike! That said, the anime is cool, fair mix of fantasy, slice or life and a bit of action.
Story is after 30 years of service for the kingdom, a legendary warrior, is given a title and a land to administer. Guy is a simple man, was an orphan of war, from poor stock, got quite no education, but is a gentle heart. Think warrior with 20 Strengh, 20 constitution, 6 intel guy. Issue is, some nobles hates him, and they plot to take all his base money servant, everything, so he is literally dropped in his "lordship" with his armor, his weapon and a goodbye. His new home is a stepes, no three, only grass land and some herds, with a few tribes of nomads living by. And the guy ll try to build something out of it. It's a bit Kingmaker in anime, i kinda like it, there's BIG PLOT TROPES everywhere but it's cool. I ve been enjoying it so far!
Looking a bit for something else in the tropes, i liked the Farming in another world series too, chill slice of life and fantasy.. sadly a lot of those "isekai slice of life" abandon the slice of life to show the hero getting OP or something, and that's shit! I like when guy is maybe op, but the plot is, ok you can kill dragons, but now try to take care of tomatoes, that is a hard work! Tough even a good slice of life without fantasy would do
So if you got any like that to recomand would go take a look ^^

That's about it, thanks for reading this far, if you still are, and c ya soon!
