Another month down, many more to go!

Path of the Paladin Update

Book 2 is nearly done and should be ready for publishing submission in March. The final polish is going well, and I'm really happy with how the back-half is shaping up.

On the publishing front: Book 1 should be available in late spring to early summer. I know some of you have been asking about this, so I'm thrilled it's finally coming together. Book will hopefully follow a few months after that. They're all simultaneous releases, so the audiobooks will launch with the books themselves.

As for what's next: Book 3 has been fully outlined and I can't wait to dice in. After a short breather once Book 2 is submitted, I'll be ready to start posting new chapters here on Patreon. Stay tuned for more details on that timeline soon.

Rivera's Repairs Update

Hey all! I know a week off can feel like forever when you're deep in a story, but I come bearing good news.

First, Rivera's Repairs 3 is coming along great. I really appreciate having this time to polish the opening chapters. Getting the foundation right matters a ton, and I think you'll appreciate the difference. The story is taking off in directions I'm genuinely excited about, and I can't wait for you to see what's in store.

Second, to tide you over until Tuesday: the new cover is done!

Hand drawn by Shawn Decker - we did a pulp-style look this time, and I thought you'd enjoy an early peek. Check it out below:

I'd love to hear what you think.

See you Tuesday!

UPDATE: It seems like the general feedback around this particular cover is "no thanks!" and that's totally fine! I appreciate the feedback and love supporting other artists in our space. I'll put it in the 'no' pile and look for another artist that might be able to capture Tess more accurately :)

I Like the cover except for her mouth I wish it was softer she looks older and more stern than I see her as and more serious and even at her most serious she kind of seems like she is the type of person that has a really playful smirk on her face pretty much always except for when she's getting yelled at and even then maybe so this her mouth makes her look like a different person than who you're writing her as if that helps

the red thing looks weird compared to the rest of the cover, the modern computer font feels out of place. and honestly removing the it completely would look a lot better.

Nope its quit ugly the two previous covers were leagues above of this one, it could be the art style or that its hand drawn and it dosn't help that Tess looks like she is a end forties handywoman who is just done with life.

I looked up Shawn Decker’s other cover art and I liked it but something seems a little off with this one, like with the main character. It feels like he is too used to doing men’s faces and had given her a very strong jawline and lip that would fit better on a film noir male detective. Her back raised leg is bothering me with its placement as well, looks like it’s coming from higher off her torso than her hip, like it should be. Personally, I feel like the previous covers fit a little better in art style, as bad as this sounds they are what made me pick up this story to read in the first place and get hooked.

incase my comment was counted as a no, it was a yes with out that red box, it looks good.

I also started reading the story because of the cover it was perfect and I think that staying in that vein would be good
