Hey witches! Here is a summery recipe you can make for Litha, also known as Midsummer or the Summer Solstice. I created a printable you can print out to add to your Book of Shadows or Grimoire, but I'll also include the recipe in this post for anyone who doesn't want to download the PDF.

Litha Lavender Lemonade

The Mundane:

• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 cup of water
• 1-2 tbsp lavender buds
• 1 cup lemon juice or lemonade
• (Optional) Lemon slices, mint, lavender sprigs

The Magickal:

Sugar for adding extra sweetness into your life, positivity, love and prosperity.

Water represents harmony, fluidity, calmness, cleansing.

Lavender for love, sleep, protection, peace, happiness, purifying.

Lemons for purifying, banishing negativity, love, attracting friends, cleansing.

Mint for communication, uplifting energy, restoration, love, luck and healing.

How to Make:

First, make the simple syrup. Bring water, sugar, and lavender buds to a boil in a small saucepan. Boil these for a minute or so until sugar is dissolved. Let the mixture cool completely. Strain and discard lavender to complete making the syrup.

To make the lavender lemonade, add a small handful of torn mint leaves to a glass and fill the glass with ice. Add a few ice cubes to a shaker. Add lemonade and lavender simple syrup to the shaker. Shake for 30 seconds and pour into the glass with the mint. Top off with a dash of club soda if you choose and garnish with a lemon slice, and a lavender/mint spring (Optional).
