Merry Yule! Today marks the Winter Solstice. The Winter Solstice, also known as the first day of Yule and the darkest and longest night of the year, is a time of reflection. Why not take a moment to practice some journal prompts and shadow work? Here is a collection of different and journal and shadow work prompts to reflect on during Yule season. I have added some in the coven chat on Discord and I'm putting the rest here! Feel free to write these down in your journal or read them in your mind while practicing your shadow work.

.) What is lying dormant in your life right now? What may bloom in the warmer months?

.) What is your biggest accomplishment this year?

.) What smells do you associate with winter? Do they remind you of any memories?

.) If you could kiss anyone under the mistletoe, who would it be?

.) Write about being still in the darkness and the lessons you've learned from it.

.) What memories do you have with snow? Do you have any experiences as a child, watched it in a movie or read it in a book? How does it make you feel?

.) Go outside and reflect on the changes in nature and write down your thoughts.

.) Pull a tarot card for each month of the new year. Journal down your thoughts and the meanings of each card. Refer back to it and reflect on how it relates to you.

.) Log your dreams. What is the meaning behind them?
