Collective Yule Oracle Reading❄️🌲✨ (Patreon)
Content
Merry Christmas and Yule season, witches! I was originally going to do a 3-card spread, but then two more cards fell out so I decided to add them, too! This oracle spread is using the Seasons of the Witch: Yule Oracle by Juliet Diaz and Lorraine Anderson. The themes in this reading are all about perseverance, reflection, examination, banishing and planning . Does this reading resonate with you?
Perseverance:
Keywords: Loneliness, determination, principles
Stay in thy power dear child, for thy lonely is never alone. When the world is dreadful upon thy, turn to the spirits within thy.
Perhaps the most ominous card of the deck, Perserverance, often comes along due to struggles, betrayals, loss, or overwhelming obstacles ahead. You may be facing some setbacks or feel as though you do not have the strength to go on with your current path. The struggles you're facing now are meant to make you stronger and wiser, and to bring more clarity as you move forward. Consider this: If you cannot handle obstacles where you are, how will you address more significant challenges as you expand?
You are being tested now to see how well you manage adversity. How you face challenges can make or break your path to success. Remember that strength is not limited, and you have the power to overcome your situation. When the dust settles you will be wiser and ready to rise to a new level of success.
Bear Medicine:
Keywords: Hibernation, meditation, healing
There is no tomorrow without the healing of the past for in stillness you shall find yourself right where you are.
You are such a strong, sacred soul, but even the strong need time to rest. Making space for solitude and healing is not a sign of weakness but self-preservation and self-worth. It shows a deep love and honoring of your most sacred treasure - YOU!
That is why healers, shamans, gurus, and guides over the world make alone time such a priority. Having a meditative practice allows you to heal - mentally, spiritually, physically and emotionally. You have pulled the Bear Medicine card because you will find guidance, understanding, and healing for your situation in moments of solitude. You will begin to see things from a different perspective once you've had time to recharge your batteries. Your problem may even present itself in an entirely new light after some self-reflection.
Additionally, receiving Bear Medicine may be an indication of a dormant healing ability. Bears are associated with healers in some cultures, and seeing a bear is believed to be a sign that you are ready to ascend to your destiny as a teacher and guide. But before you can heal others you must learn to heal yourself.
Darkest Hour:
Keywords: Longest night, abyss, void
There in the void of thy darkness swells the shadow of the soul, swallowing the wickedness into the blackness of its wholeness.
Light and darkness go hand in hand. Just like the day turns into night, the soul must also go through periods of highs and lows. A low is called the dark night of the soul - a period where you feel lost, confused and removed from your spirit. Everyone will experience a dark night of the soul at some point and you will likely experience many over your lifetime. It is common for the darkest night to appear during times of extreme stress and disruption. And while this process isn't pleasant, and you will undoubtedly lose something, things will be for the better when you emerge from the journey.
The Darkest Hour has appeared because you are being asked to examine what is absolutely necessary for joy. Is it money? Is it love? Is it fame or respect? Imagine being free of it. The Darkest Hour reminds you that material things are not necessary for happiness and that it is something that is already available to you with or without material success. You may feel as though you have to be where you are, but that isn't true.
You are being guided to find true happiness within your spirit. Do not be afraid of change and do not be scared to let go. Doing so means you can see the light, even when life feels hopeless. Self-focused happiness provides a guiding light when you are lost in the Darkest Hour. It will point the way home and help you recover.
Ringing the Bells:
Keywords: Banishment, charging
Ring thy bell to cast them out, ring thy bell and dance about. Swirl the sounds amidst the winds, nowhere to hide, for all will ring.
Bells and Yule go hand in hand. They're used to create music; you'll often find a Santa or two swinging one around and bells are always attached to sleighs. They are genuinely joyous but can be used for more than simple musical instruments. Bells also raise energy to increase rituals and the effectiveness of spells while cleansing negative energy to drive away malicious spirits. It's essential to keep your home's energy clear all year long but especially during the winter season when you spend more time indoors with loved ones.
Energy tends to hide in dark places and dusty corners that haven't seen a full day's sun in some time. And like your space, the soul can be full of tiny pockets of low vibrational energy that you may not realize are there. The same goes for everyday living. There could be people in your life who are full of low vibrations, but you're so used to having them in the background that you simply haven't noticed in a while.
You have pulled Ringing the Bells because something distressing is in your life and you are being called to banish it. It could be a person, an object or even a place. What comes to mind first that is bothering you will be the cause. Perhaps you're holding on to something from a past relationship that makes you sad. Or it could be a friend who, despite how much you love them, brings you down a little when they're around. It may not seem like a big deal, but your energy takes a hit every time you're in the presence of a low vibrational companion.
You are being guided to slowly and lovingly banish this person or thing from your life. If it's an object it may be time to donate or recycle it. If it's a person, it could be as simple as spending less time with that person or explaining how you feel so that they may change. As you clear this energy from your life, your vibrations will rise and call more joy to you.
Squirrel Medicine:
Keywords: Planning, secrets, trust
Pitter patter, plan ahead, keep silent your paths desire. No eyes or ears shall see you coming, a well-deserved reveal.
Squirrels are always preparing for a hard winter season. They are continually gathering acorns, seeds and berries to store in hollow trees or small crevices to come back to when they need it. Sometimes they hide their treasures so well that they can't find them later on. But this never bothers them, and they continue to be more prepared than necessary. Whatever seeds they missed will grow into plants, contributing to the cycle of life.
Squirrel Medicine guides you to get prepared to welcome your intentions into your life. Yes, the Universe will do most of the heavy lifting, but you will have to do your part as well, by being ready to receive opportunities when they come knocking. This can be enrolling in that class or having your two-minute pitch ready to go. Manifestation is really preparation that meets divine opportunities and it's better to be over prepared than missing out because you didn't prepare at all. Energy is never wasted, and you never know when all of your hard work will come in handy.
