The Full Buck Moon in July will reach its peak illumination on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 4:37 PM EDT. While it peaks during daylight hours in North America, the best viewing will be after sunset when it rises in the eastern sky.

Spiritually, the Full Buck Moon is rich with meaning, often tied to themes of:

• Growth and Regeneration: The name "Buck Moon" comes from the fact that male deer (bucks) are growing their new antlers vigorously during this time of year. This natural process symbolizes personal growth, regeneration, and the shedding of old patterns to make way for new beginnings. It's a powerful time to reflect on how far you've come and to commit to your long-term vision.

• Strength and Determination: Like the growing antlers of the buck, this moon encourages you to tap into your inner strength, assertiveness, and determination to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. It's about rising into your power and moving forward with intention.

• Culmination and Abundance: As a full moon, it represents a culmination of energy and a time of abundance. It invites gratitude for what has manifested and encourages you to recognize the fruits of your labor.

• Focus and Practicality: In 2025, the Buck Moon falls in the sign of Capricorn. This grounded earth energy emphasizes discipline, responsibility, and perseverance. It encourages you to blend your spiritual aspirations with practical steps, focusing on long-term goals and making necessary adjustments to your plans.

• Releasing and Renewal: Like all full moons, it's a potent time for releasing anything that no longer serves your highest good, especially beliefs or habits that might be holding you back from growth or self-confidence. By letting go, you create space for new cycles of growth and transformation.

• Connection to Nature: Also known as the "Thunder Moon" due to frequent summer thunderstorms, or "Herb Moon" for the abundance of herbs available, it connects us to the rhythms of the natural world. It can be a time to engage with nature, gather herbs, or use rainwater for cleansing rituals.

In essence, the Full Buck Moon in July encourages you to embrace your personal power, pursue your aspirations with determination, and make practical strides towards the life you are building, all while releasing what no longer serves your journey.
