Fantastic video, guys! I am thrilled that you all enjoyed the first few episodes of this show, especially the third one, which is also my favourite, out of those three. I genuinely hope you will continue reacting to more episodes in the future, and it will eventually become a full series. Much appreciated!

By the way, I am pretty sure that “Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness” primarily takes place after the first movie, focusing on Po’s training to become a true Dragon Warrior. Although it was produced later, its storylines generally bridge the gap between the first and second films.

Jonathan D. Phoenix

Yeah I remember this series along with the HTTYD ones being pretty good for what they were

DBKing

Quonte Owens

You guys are such legends man 🤧

Δένη

Likewise, I really hope so!

Δένη

Ah, yes, I remember that one too. In my opinion, this is the best Kung Fu Panda series. It is one of my favorite shows!

Jalen Cutts

If I remember correctly it actually takes place between both after the 1st film for part of the series and after film 2 for the second half.

Fun Fact: if you remove a scorpion’s tail you also remove their anus so they die to constipation

Carlitocool02

I'm actually really happy I used to watch this on nicktoons when I was 10

Δένη

Oh, interesting. That makes sense, you are probably right too.

Δένη

Much obliged!

Oscar The Magic One

In my opinion, I believe that the premier episode should've showcase Po and the furious five doing a long training session before they actually get to fighting bad guys instead of this Scorpion episode, the scorpion episode should have been a season 1 finale, also, I really like the voice actor for Master shifu in this series

Δένη

Yeah, I share your opinion. I think so too. However, I believe the Scorpion Sting episode was quite good as well. I thoroughly enjoyed all the voice actors for the show, including Master Shifu.

Oscar The Magic One

I'm quite thankful for this similar opinion that we share, imagine if kung fu panda and penguins of Madagascar made a crossover, the penguins could've been a major asset for Po and the furious five

Δένη

Likewise. Wow, yes, that would be incredible! I fully agree. The only reason I think that did not happen or they did not do that is because Kung Fu Panda takes place in a different time, probably a more ancient era, while The Penguins of Madagascar is set in the modern day, I believe…

Oscar The Magic One

That makes sense, I read on Google that penguins of Madagascar is actually an alternate universe separate from the Madagascar films, or it ties in with the first and second Madagascar films, and yes, I believe that it would confusing of a crossover due to Po living in a more ancient era compared to penguins of Madagascar, also, kung fu panda legends of awesomeness is to be in between the ending of the first movie and the beginning of the second movie

Δένη

That is understandable. From what I gathered, The Penguins of Madagascar is treated as its own continuity, although it can be loosely associated with the events of Madagascar and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. I also agree with you that a crossover would probably feel confusing, mainly because Po comes from the world of Kung Fu Panda, which is clearly set in a much older, more historical and stylized era than the modern and highly technological setting of the penguins. As for Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, I agree that it fits narratively between the ending of the first film and the beginning of the second one. That placement makes the most sense in terms of character development and story continuity.

Oscar The Magic One

Yeah, but the only thing I hate about the DreamWorks animated tv series is that they purposely water down and weaken the main characters, making them less impressive than their movie counterparts, and not just Kung Fu Panda, all of DreamWorks animated series has been completely watered down into making characters less impressive than they were before

Δένη

Yes, I can see what you mean. Television adaptations often have to adjust character portrayal because of different budgets, episode formats, and the need for longer story arcs, which can sometimes make characters feel less powerful or dramatic compared to their film versions. At the same time, some series try to compensate by expanding personalities or exploring side stories that films do not have time to develop. It is an interesting trade-off, even if it does not always work for everyone…

Oscar The Magic One

That's true, honestly though, I felt like if they did crossovers, the budget would be spreading really vastly but not in a good way, especially because all I see from dreamworks animated work is nothing but CGI stuff, and I bet that CGI animation is a lot more expensive than 2D animation

Δένη

That is a fair point. Large crossovers can definitely stretch resources, and when production teams rely heavily on Computer-generated imagery, the costs for modeling, rendering, and maintaining visual consistency across multiple properties can add up quickly. At the same time, some studios choose Computer-generated imagery because it can be reused and scaled across episodes once the assets are built, whereas two-dimensional often requires more frame-by-frame work. In the end, it seems like each approach has its own trade-offs depending on the scope and goals of the project…
