YES! I love this movie!!! Thank you, Timothy! Lol 😁

The new Planet of the Apes movies are actually all prequels of this movie. The new ones just showed the beginning of the ape rise to power.

Fuck yes 🔥🔥 Hope you guys react to the rest of the movies, I love the old school sci-fi vibe of these

Brent bmc_comix

I hope so too!!! These and the OG Star Trek films really have that cool retro vibe! 😁🖖

Jonathan D. Phoenix

No they’re not. They were intended to be at first but then became their own thing

Jala Rhone

It’s called Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The rise to their power. Plus the woman’s name in this movie is Nova. That’s what they started calling females in the War of the Planet of the Apes movie. They saw the name on a license plate. Also, it showed in that movie how they were becoming mute.

Jonathan D. Phoenix

They did the Nova thing as a reference to this movie but they’re not prequels. It’s like a separate universe

Jose Felix

One of the people who helped with the script was the legendary Rod Serling, creator of the Twilight Zone and Night Gallery.

Fun Fact: It was initially going to be revealed that Nova was pregnant with Taylor's child by the end of the movie. But then the writers cut it out since the studio felt it'd be to similar to bestiality.
