Oh my god, it’s been so long. I absolutely love Starship Troopers, that movie is so good

Yessss! 🔥🔥This is the most I’ve been excited for a sponsor since Speed Racer

I saw this as a kid and didn't realize it was a comedy. Now that I'm older, I understand all of the actors are intentionally giving the most hammy, over-the-top performances possible and it's hysterical. They're chewing the scenery in every, single shot. it's great.

In case you guys didn’t catch it, Carl used his telepathic powers to let Johnny know where to find Carmen

Saw this movie when I was way younger and thought it was really cool but the hammy, over-the-top pro-war satire didn't really set in until way later, especially after finding out the book it's based on is mostly a different vibe and more straight faced or at least less wink wink about it. The sequels are pretty bad though, don't remember if it was 2 or 3 that basically invalidated an aspect of this one's narrative. What's funny is that Helldivers 2 is essentially a legally distinct Starship Troopers game and has the over-the-top war agenda down to a T, it's more of a ST game than the actual ST game.

Yea many people dont realize the movie is a parody for war propaganda. They are intentional trying to make war look badass and desirable to join

The guy you were asking if he played live-action Jorgon Von Strangle is Clancy Brown. He's best know as a voice actor who voiced Mr. Krabs, Lex Luthor, Long Feng, and hundreds more.
