This honestly reminds me of one of my greatest friends' accomplishments. In college a very dear friend of mine started a LGBTQ+ org on our campus in the mid-late '90s.. GLAAD declined to syndicate her initiative, and she went ahead and formed the group anyway. One of her big public events was a day of "Gay activities on campus" which featured folk hanging out on park benches, playing frisbee, and just being regular people. It was a huge success, and it made a lasting mark on many including myself. This piece brings me back to that day with a clarity that I had forgotten. I'm convinced she would have loved your work.
