Both beeping and bopping? Looking forward to it!

So not 192-related I just wanted to wait until I was fully caught up before asking in case it got answered later and 192 will be the first full mainline since I've caught up, but I've been curious for awhile - Capitalism doesn't give away money. So if, as posited for several early characters/pages, people pawn their organic body parts to afford Nephilopolis, that implies one of two things: EITHER there is a lucrative secondhand market for organic body parts (which was my original take/curiosity) OR workers are being shorted SO much on labor that is SO valuable (and can't be done by pure robots) that the whole racket is business fronts the actual cost of the prostheses AND a stipend for the customer SO THAT the customer can become a laborer and let the business recoup their whole investment by shaving wages within the narrow window before the laborer becomes obsolete. I feel like the latter is closer to the expressed worldview (Ling specifically is kinda this-but-with-added-complexity-and-also-not), but there's still something far enough from completely lining up to make an interesting aside... Not an answer I need immediately (unless Let Me Share With You My Interests brain happens to strike) but it would be cool to see some closure/color on the subject eventually.
