It is funny how insistent Volo is that Asmodea is a girl... And yet she doesn't find having a girlfriend "out of character". Nothing's simple, even for someone who insists that it is.

It is wonderful to see Vonnie reflect so much, and choose her path so deliberately. While the other characters may have many mysteries yet to explore, she has really become the most visibly developed character in the story. She started so simple, so shallow, and now she has so many layers and goals and drives, sometimes in conflict with each other. I really like her.
