I have been venturing into writing and I'm trying to get and idea of how long you all would like the stories to be. I'm never sure as I read quite slowly and I'm new to this but have been loving the writing process to help inspire me in my create process. So, please let me know your thoughts on the length of my current written work. Vote and let me know, thanking for every one who takes the time to vote. You can also leave comments if there is some information you would like me to hear. Your voice does matter here.

Honestly, I’m fine with how you did with the last two. But I feel that you should kinda base it on what you want to achieve with each piece. If you feel a longer length would tell the story you want then that’s totally fine. And vice versa.

I will say that when it comes to writing erotica, pacing is everything. If you spend too much time writing the buildup of a sex scene without the proper payoff you risk loosing your audiences attention. However if you just jump right into it and gloss over all the steamy details of the scene then you won’t immerse your audience. It’s best to use the beginning to set the stage, use the middle for all the “action” in whatever level of detail seems appropriate, lead into your “climax” and close with any aftercare that feels appropriate. I hope this was helpful.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. I'm new to writing so, working it out. I will keep what you said in mind. I would like to build up to maybe writing some longer form stories BUT only when it makes sense. So far I have been very happy with what I have written and I think they where as long as they needed to be. I just want to make sure that we are all on the same page. I have always been a big fan of story telling in all forms and writing has been something I have been something I was afraid to try. Thanx again!

Thank you for taking the time to give your feed back. I will take all of this into consideration as I plan things out. Let me know if you think the balance it of as I juggle all these things! hehe Cheers!

There is a Futa artist called Dmitrys and some of his work come with written stories attached that would make a good frame of reference. You can find most of it here on Patreon.

I'm a quick reader, so I might not be the best referance for lenght. But the two stories/chapters you posted imo were about the right lenght. Like Moviejunkie said, pacing is important. You shouldn't rush the story, but shouldn't extend it "pad it out" just to make it longer. I tried writing too, and got caught up with details, so my early chapters in my story were quite long. So much so, that after I finally said "okay the end", I went back and re-edited the first few chapters to make them like the later ones. If you continue writing, your style will get honed, so later if you look back at these early stories/chapters, you might even want to redo them, but that's allright. All in all, sorry for the long reply, you're on thr right track, keep it up 😁✌️

Thank you for the feed back. I'm glad to hear that so far it has been alright. Now I can just focus on getting better! I just wanted to make sure that I was at the very least heading in the correct direction. I just wanted to make sure that I was right to much as that would be a problem. Right now it is looking good!

Felt a bit brief to me.

Im not sure wether to vote for more words or the same as you have written . It depends on how the words are flowing i think . I would rather read a short but well written story than a longer one that is made longer just to make it to a set amount of words. The story and how you feel should set the length if that makes sense

Fetishhand

Thank you for your feed back. I will take that into consideration. As long as you do not think it is too short then I'm happy.

No i dont think its too short , the stories you have written are great length , i really enjoyed them
