There is a new policy at spindlehorse that prevents merch artists/illustrators from selling their own fanmade merch.

I AM ABSOLUTELY ENRAGED OVER THIS NEW POLICY WDYM MERCH/ILLUSTRATORS WHO STARTED AS FANS OF THE SHOW, PPL YOU HIRED AND TRUSTED TO TREAT THE CHARACTERS WITH THE SAME LOVE AND CARE, ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO MAKE THEIR OWN INCOME WITH THEIR OWN ART OF THEIR FAVORITE CHARACTERS??

THEY ARE BEING TRAPPED, CAPITALIZED AND MONOPOLIZED?? WDYM THEY CAN'T EVEN JOIN FANPROJECTS LIKE ZINES??! ARTISTS ARE ALREADY STRUGGLING MAKING INCOME, YOU'RE TAKING THAT AWAY?? ARTISTS ARE ALREADY BEING TREATED LIKE CONTENT MACHINE, YOU'RE ENFORCING THAT??

It's disgusting and disrespectful, a spit in the face to people who are only trying to survive and share their passion with others. This is only pushing ppl away from buying official merch or apply for any position if this is the treatment they get.

Please spread more awareness. GET MAD. ARTISTS DESERVE PAY. RESPECT. THEIR OWN SAFE SPACE. A SAY IN WHAT THEY CAN MAKE AND SELL ON THEIR OWN TIME.

It feels so targeted I swear, cuz WOW NOT EVEN A WEEK AFTER SILENTZOUNDS SHOP OPENED IS WHEN NOW ITS A PROBLEM HUH??!
