Funny how much good writing can change your perspective. I can low-key empathize with Aset here. Not saying that she's right (not by a long shot), but it's easy to see how she'd consider her actions to be a necessary evil. She sees Set as irredeemable, and by extension his priest would have to be either evil or misguided to serve him. So she's going to rub Edith's nose in it and see how she reacts.
