I typically deal with rejection by being real big upset for about 20 minutes, and then do my best to move on from it. The last editor had loved the pitch and asked for a full script, and then had to sit on said script for 6 months. I'm learning more and more about when I should actually get my hopes up on a project- and that it's really not until the contract gets signed.
