Class notes (Patreon)

It’s the end of the semester, which means it’s time to refresh my class notes! Guest starring washi tape and stickers from Joy San!

Here are the notes for the 1st half of the semester. As you can see, Cartooning covers a variety of topics. In the beginning, there were only one or two action classes, but over the years I’ve spread it out over half the semester as a necessity to the students.

I’ve also gotten much more strict with how students hand in work, because of how often the homework arrived in varying degrees of condition. Especially knowing now how much proper file format is apart of working as an illustrator. So last year, I decided to bring down the hammer and take off marks if work came in improper formats.
