August 25: Knee-deep in Kickstarter fears (Patreon)

The last two weeks have been jammed, but the biggest highlight is that Kickstarter rewards are finally getting shipped out!This is, 100%, the part I've been most nervous about-- it's actually what kept me away from a Kickstarter for a long time. I'm not familiar with shipping en masse and was always terrified I'd mess up the numbers.Now I'm kind of immersing myself in that fear, and learning as much as I can from advice and mistakes. My friend Shel Kahn has been especially helpful in this department! They lent me their scale and label printer and taught me how to use both.At this point I'm just rolling with the assumption that mistakes will be made, it's my first Kickstarter. Of course mistakes will be made. I'm excited to take what I can learn and put it to use in the next one! It's also been great to start seeing people posting photos of their books!

Aside from Kickstarter fulfillment, in between work I've been trying to put more energy into instagram. Just being more thoughtful on what I share and how I share it. It's a process, but here's some stuff I posted in the last bit!

And for those of you that voted on our latest illo prompt, Kai's OOTDs are in the works!
