Oogh; hello, fellow citizen of Insomnialcatraz. Sleepnessness truly sucks through a straw. Sorry your cat tried to break in; my 18-lb monstercat Greymalkin has broken the frame off one side of my sliding glass door because he does the same thing in the middle of the night, only trying to get OUT. Gotta get that fixed. He seems to think he can dig through the glass; weirdo.

I’m sorry you’re also insomnia suffering!! There isn’t much worse than trying to function through that kind of fog. Greymalkin sounds like a BEAST who desires chaos. Our Derek is as smart as he is strong, and we’ve had to Derek-proof certain parts of the house haha

He is indeed a chaos-beast. But I love every bit of him-- he's the World's Greyest Cat (pewter-gray fur, gray nose, gray whiskers, gray pads) and he keeps me sane while working from home. I've had to Greyproof some of my place too, especially the aquariums. As for the insomnia, likewise; can't take stuff for it or I zombify the next day, so I lie awake and make up stories.
