Layouts for the next few pages! We're out of the fight, and we're moving into the final scene of the chapter!! The climax!

Page 60, I almost went for a bit more of a fan service-y page. Chen's become a fan favorite and it almost heavily featured him. I couldn't figure out who else our female blacksmith would call and use this gag with- but I also don't want to overuse Chen! So I went back and changed it to ending the page with just a behind shot of him. We'll get more of him next chapter, for sure!

I'm also relieved I found a reasonable weakness for the Blacksmiths. In the 2nd chapter I really felt like I was giving them way too much freedom and leeway with their abilities. At first I thought maybe water might be a good deterrent, but considering the Egyptian religion's relationship with water- something considered so pure and holy probably shouldn't be seen as a blight to Heru's warriors. 

So instead, stretching out their limbs decreases the structural integrity. They can stretch and shape without tiring, but once it's been broken, it takes a while to heal and reconstitute their original human form.

 We've got Edith trying to make sense of how the Ba affects her and how she uses it. I like the idea that whenever we get into Edith and her interaction with the Ba, the page layout gets a bit more creative- I hope I can keep that going.

And then getting a bit of de ja vu with birds possibly leading her into danger. Super fun all the time!
