man this movie still holds up so well. the writing, the acting, the sets, and the camera work. it's too bad Star Wars spends the next 30 years chasing after this movie but just never gets there

I was some 12-13 year old boy in socialist Hungary in the 80's when I saw this as my first SW movie. I fell in love immediately with SW and Leia. I read the book ( a teacher confisctaed it because I read it during class) collected pictures that you could buy in a gift shop and once I lost all of them...But recollected. Then came the vhs era, terrible quality, and a single Hungarian guy dubbed it in a terrible voice, but at least smthg. Even listened to audio tapes recorded from TV before VHS age. And now...Blue ray, dvd, download, whatever you want. Alyce reaction:) So my point is that this movie is very nostalgic to me:) Alyce, have you considered a Leia cosplay? Thank you for sharing your reactions, I enjoyed it a lot:) Practically I became patreon just to see your full reactions. (I have been your youtube subscriber for a long time, mainly because of Dark Souls and Bloodborne:) Keep on, keeping on?

Really hope you're going to react to all of the movies. While some are better than others, the universe is incredible and every film has great things to offer. I really think you'll enjoy the newer ones as well

Luke's arm was cauterized when the blade sliced it off - the lightsaber always seals the wounds in Star Wars.
