Alyska: "Make sure no one farts in the pod, guys. That would not be nice." LOL. Words to live by! Plo Koon, my favorite supporting Jedi, is voiced by the same guy who voices Kenobi, James Arnold Taylor. The unarmored clone in the pod, Wollfe, is Master Plo's guy and one of the clones you follow through this series and Rebels. I like how "Rising Malevolence" makes the normally clownish droids seem cruel and threatening as they mercilessly rupture the lifepods.

The only mistake in the chronological order is coming up in that S1E5, "Rookies", and S3E2, "ARC Troopers", are a LINKED pair depicting the Invasion of Kamino; they should be seen TOGETHER at the start of Season 3 where "ARC" is located or at the start of Season 2 if you want to get to it earlier.

Thematically, I agree it works well with them together. Storywise I don't really mind. It's believable that a little time goes by between the two episodes. There's a few other minor issues in the order though. Bounty Hunters should take place before Holocron Heist because in Bounty Hunters they're surprised that Felucia is a CIS planet despite them losing it in Holocron Heist. Biggest issue though is the Clovis arc. It should take place in season 5 before the Lawless arc.

I had read somewhere on Reddit that the Clovis arc was meant for Season 5 after the Onderon arc and that's how I watched it. It kept getting pushed back from release in the production schedule for some reason. Ian Abercrombie passed away after Lawless so this sequence also keeps his voice performance intact.

Since Grievous' droids occupy Rishi station in Rookies to ensure Kamino is unaware of the approaching invasion fleet which arrives in ARC Troopers and since he is communicating with Ventress who is already on site at Kamino, it makes narrative sense to pair the two episodes. By placing it at the start of Season 2, the viewer can have a Domino Squad story every season except the fifth. Season 1 -- Cadets solo, Season 2 -- Kamino pairing, Season 3 -- Citadel trilogy, Season 4 -- Umbara quartet and Season 6 -- Order 66 arc! That was my thinking anyway. However one goes about it, eventually everything gets seen.

That's a good point on the Ventress stuff and of course Abercrombie so it doesn't switch voices back and forth. I heard the Clovis stuff too. I seem to remember the pushback maybe being related to the Youngling arc but I'm not sure. That season was always weird with just 20 episodes.
