Yam Bride, the Youkai Girl from Togo, West Africa (Patreon)

Hello again my Patrons!

Today I hope to show you a new addition to my "Anime-Tamae!" world...

A beautiful young bride from Africa, "Yam Bride"!

("Yam " is not sweet potato called "Yam" in USA, but more basic kind of  potato eaten in many countries. It called "Yama-imo" or "Tororo-imo" in Japan. Do you eat it in your country?)

In the original legend...

Two widows lived in Togo.

A younger widow found a Yam, and planted it in her house. 5days later, The Yam became a beautiful young girl!

Celestial beings found the girl, and took her to heaven as a bride.

Even after became a celestial creature, Yam Bride sometimes visited a widow, and helped her.

But Oleder Widow envied them. She threw curse to  Yam Bride and said "Return to Yam!" Then Yam Bride returned to Yam Potato, never became a girl again...

Okay, but in Anime-Tamae! world, Yam Bride has rebirth!

Probably she is traveling to find her spouse (it may be You, or another cute girl as Yuri couple?)... to become a bride like her ancestor.

Or she may need Shinka & Sagiri's maginificent divine voice power, to make more Yam to beautiful Girls like her.

I tried to draw her as mixuture of Japanese sexy Manga girl and culture of tamberma folks in Togo (They are original legend tellers)
