Not only Albedo here... Albedo everywhere !!! I still don't understand why people continue to choose heavyly modeled characters instead of more original one... Each month, there is at least, one characters on the two that can be found everywhere in multiple version... If it continues like this, I'm not sure to stay... I started to support because it was less common characters but now... look at the choices for october: only characters that have been done again, and again, and again... She-Hulk, Black Cat, Chun Li, D.Va, Albedo, Spider Gwen : it is easy to find multiple very good version of those characters... Bulma less and quite bad... maybe less choices also for Bayonetta and Juri; probably "only" two or three good versions... I understand that you want your patreons to be happy... but in the end, there is nothing special here anymore... you may lost the soul and spirit of this patreon...

And how do you select the characters for the survey? I just have a look on the post where you ask for our favorite character for october... and I cannot find those, except ONE request for Black Cat and Bulma... there were a lot of requests for Darkness, or other,but nothing about ChunLi or Albedo!! Can you explain a little ?

I know. The biggest thing was finding quality models of some cool Waifu's but the issue is that we're not seeing the lesser done models. Just different interpretations of the same characters. Make no mistake, I appreciate the eye for detail and the work that goes into them. But it's becoming more a 'flavor of the month club' where we're seeing people going back to waifu's that everyone likes and has already been done dozens of times. Y'Shtola from FF14 has been suggested several times but despite it's popularity hasn't been done. And having done a search for 3D printable models of her, there are only two out there that I've found that aren't remixes of the big two. Just my two cents, but maybe you guys should do one model that's been suggested repeatedly in the polls but hasn't quite gotten enough votes to be selected. Then do a poll for the bonus model where anything goes. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to go back and look at the different polls for inspiration.

Y'Shtola has been added to our poll earlier multiple times. You could check our earlier polls. But Y'Shtola didn’t win each time, I do understand that you may like Y'Shtola very much, but we cannot add this character always, as it should give fair chance for other characters as well to get listed. Hope, I can bring her again in the future poll, So she might win! :)

We try to focus on creating multiple female characters from Anime, Comics and Video games. For October, there are lot of anime suggestion, so we added some video game and comic characters to balance it out. End of the day, winning character are chosen based on poll. I do understand that some of the characters are done by other patreons or in other platforms. Main goal of OXO3D is to keep the price affordable. So, we just charge flat $10 and we don’t charge extra for commercial license. It is not possible for everyone to subscribe to multiple patreons or join another platform. Besides, though there are lot of characters that is been done outside multiple times, we do it in our own style and with NSFW option. We plan to bring more interesting characters and also add new special models here and there apart from the main and gift model.

You're missing my point. My point is that you're doing models that everyone else is doing or has done dozens of times. By constantly doing everything that wins on the poll you're becoming another flavor of the month club where the flavors are the same just a different offering that month. Everyone is doing Albedo or has done Albedo. Hell, you guys have already DONE Albedo before and now it looks like you'll be doing her again. What I'm getting at is trying doing something different. Do a model or two that has been suggested frequently but hasn't been quite popular enough to win and then make the poll for the bonus model. Otherwise we're going to get more of the same. More models that everyone else has done and will do again in the future. What attracted me to you guys was when a customer commissioned me to print and paint the Aerith Long Red Dress model. I got to looking at your Gumroad page and saw that you had plenty of models of lesser known characters as well as a mix of more popular stuff. But it's quickly turning into 'more of the same'.

We do understand your point now. You have mentioned that one of your customers commissioned you to print Aerith model, but Aerith is a popular character and most people like her. We just want to bring more characters which most people like and popular. We did Albedo model on October 2021, it is around one year time, some new patrons didn’t get Albedo model. If most people don’t like Albedo or no need Albedo, she also cannot get high votes in October poll 2022. Also, albedo (Overlord) new season is coming up – So, why we can’t create albedo in new pose. Maybe some patrons have done Albedo or other characters, but it is not possible for everyone to subscribe to multiple patreons or join another platform to get those characters. We only can make sure that patreons in OXO3D to get the characters which win the poll based on all patreons vote. Thank you for your support and your input. We’ll try to bring more characters in future that you might like.

Most people that vote in his polls for the month are people with are people with a niche of stuff like Overlord and Marvel. I understand what OXO3D is trying to do by releasing polls, but I don’t really think it’s actually speaking for ALL of his Patreon supporters. Most of his supporters do like characters that haven’t been done again and again, but we never get our voice heard whether it’s by not voting or by being drowned out by the niche group. Sad to see, I’ll probably leave this September because it’s starting to get annoying

Repetitive characters that can be found every where and with a lot of versions and poses. I joined this patreon because designs are wonderful and different, however I think that's not the case anymore. I will stay one month more to see whats happens next month
