The 15th Episode | Mind Over Magic episode 16

No. Stop it. You're confusing me. Okay, so, I decided last week that I'd switch to doing 2 episodes of the ole Wizard Hole each week. First, to get through the story a little faster, second because it'd mean I wouldn't spend half of each part figuring out what the hell I was doing previously. A good plan. When I last recorded (not this one, the two episodes after this) I did two parts, and upon editing checked to see the last episode in the "already rendered" list and it was episode 15. This video right here. I then went about my day. The following day I uploaded the two new Wizarding episodes and put the thumbnails together for them. Saving the thumbnails I saw that I'd only got as far as episode 14, so the next thumbnail would be episode 15. "Odd," I thought to myself, "I must have mis-numbered the videos yesterday. I'll go have a quick double-check." So I went and had a quick double-check. But I did not see episode 15 anywhere. "Odd," I thought to myself again, "Still, it's not like it's the first time my internal numbering has gone a bit wonky. I must have made a mistake. Episode 15 it is." Then I posted the episode, and comments appeared to indicate that a chunk of time was missing. I was now pretty certain it wasn't, but decided to check the evidence provided. "Odd," I thought to myself, and not for the first time, "There seems to be an episode missing." I then went for yet another look through what already existed and found this very video. So I uploaded it. Now, I could renumber the fake episode 15 that I already posted, but frankly it amuses me more to give you this episode 15 as episode 16 like some sort of redundant cinematic flashback episode that explains character backstory or some such. No, seriously, instead of correcting the cock-up in numbering (a task that would take 30 seconds) I've chosen to write you this story instead because absolutely everyone reads the descriptions on these things. I should do this on every video. It'd be like a little book to go along with the video. I'm not saying it'd be any good, but there were people who used to read the secret of the day which, often, wasn't even remotely interesting. What the hell am I going to record today?

Nope, not confused at all. Amused should be the right word here. Merci ! :)
