Build/demolish on rinse and repeat. Building a power plant that follows the rail curve will look great once it's done. Assuming I can actually smooth the alignment out correctly.-CF

The Power Station - Satisfactory Railworld

Will I decide on a naming convention by the end of this delightful spot of industrial building?

Love the game, but it is huge time sink!

Good stuff as ever CF - particularly that vague sense of deja vu around 1:14:47 :). Regarding the rail pillar snapping early on in the video - pillars will snap perfectly to the underside of a (blueprinted) track bed when in blueprint mode - particularly if said track bed has protruding stubs to which the pillars can bind. Of course that means you're back into the seemingly intractable issue of track beds... As I see it, you either have free-floating track between each track bed/pillar or you lay track bed everywhere. The free-floating track maybe makes for nicer bends however, as you say in the video, it doesn't really look sufficiently reinforced. Laying track bed everywhere solves this but comes at the cost of a lot of blueprint work to deal with bends. Once the blueprints are done it is not much more difficult to lay - instead of using a temporary "track bed" of foundations to ensure your next pillar is at the same level as its predecessor, you just snap one track bed blueprint onto another. Well that's the theory anyway... Hope this helps.
