The Colonel Reduced in black and white April 2018

Why are you in black and white today? Because I didn't do my usual colour correction on the camera, and looked a bit too vibrant as a result. Colour correction in post production left me dissatisfied, so I went noir. Take a seat, grab a drink and sit back to the relaxing sound of plans being drawn then abandoned within minutes. Think I am one of the 210!

Feedback.... Loving the new camera, but can you turn off the autofocus? As you move around the stuff behind you goes in and out of focus... not a major complaint... just an obs....

Colonel Failure

I spotted the auto focus conducting its dance when editing. It'll be off in future.

Regarding video sharing: While I stayed for the Transport Fever, it was PUBG I shared with friends & co, funny as $derity_punishment_center

I've never heard of "Mixer"? Before going on there maybe an introduction to it and it's workings might be in order? I'm still waiting on a tutorial on Discord and moving around in it, mail, messaging, setting up your microphone etc. I guess my take on the other stuff for me is that I like watching the game play and learning from it. That's what drove me into your Transport Fever series. I'm currently into Farming Simulator and even rented my own server so I could play Multi-player with a friend and having a blast. FS20019 will be coming out in the fall with a bunch of new stuff so I'll be surfing for video's that will teach me all the new stuff. I enjoy the "slapstick" with you and steggs but I prefer it when you play something entertaining as well as informative. I'm rambling now...just my 2 cents.

Your comments about 3-episode mini series got me thinking. What I've noted is that you usually don't tell people at the end of such a series that it is the end. Would it not be a better idea to say something like "well that was fun but won't come back" at the end?

I love me some colonel ramblings, please don't obsess about numbers, looking forward to all the new stuff and maybe even some fail squad merch...Try to get in on voxel tycoon early.

Just an observation being of a certain age. Almost all my friends who I share videos with, do not subscribe to any of the channels. They now wait for me to push to them an interesting video. It’s annoying for me as I constantly tell them, hey! Just subscribe. Their admission is that they do not want the notifications. This may not be the same for other demographics. Or I may be an anomaly.

Love the new logo, however the transition looks almost exactly like FOX Sports Network's transitions during their American Football shows. Only they have robot football players and you have a bulldozer. Maybe something less Corporate Ad-gathering?

Colonel Failure

I may save it for Electrosports. It'd fit that a little better.

Skipachu

I was thinking the same thing. It's VERY sports-channelish when compared to the transitions on American TV .

I often get YouTube adverts at really inappropriate times during a video now. Often can be mid sentence! Can you do anything about it or is it just YT being YT?

Colonel Failure

You can control exactly when ads appear when uploading videos but YT offers a "let us choose a good place" option which, it seems, many opt into. I don't use mid-video ads for exactly the reasons you state.

Awww colonel, spoilers on echo 😭

Onwards and Upwards, indeed! Looking forward to... well... so much! :)

Hawk5602

Keep up the good work! We appreciate it.

I paid the "horrific shipping costs" to get your shirts, and yeah - wow. Almost as much as the shirts. "Fail brigade" is good.
