Get involved! New Bad Company Game! (Patreon)

This is your invitation to join the latest Bad Company game. It's free to play, and no prior knowledge is required... although some level of interest may be helpful.

We're taking on American Football Team Management (think Football Manager, US style) with My Football Now. It's a browser game so you don't need a beast of a PC to play, and the expectation is that a regular game will take you anywhere from 30 seconds to an hour to plan, depending on how involved you want to get.

We have a private league of 32 teams all to ourselves, and the clock is ticking for the beginning of the initial draft. Having played a few web based sports manager games in the past this looks like being terrific. If you've only played Football Manager before, sign up, you'll enjoy this even if you're new to handegg. If you've only played Madden, sign up, you'll quickly get to grips with management play. If you only watch football on TV, sign up, the thrill is just as big when it's your own team.

This will be an exclusive Bad Company game unless we have slots open in which case I'll expand it (details to come if needed).

If you fancy learning the sport with a friendly crowd, this is the place to do it. Help will be offered, and nobody will be made to feel bad if they lose every game. ESPECIALLY IF IT'S ME.

A few notes:

Select a team immediately if you're interested. You can investigate the ins and out later. The draft starts next week, so you've some time to get set up.

The game is FREE to play, although you can buy credits to customize your team faster. This should not be necessary however, as you will earn 5 points every day (as long as you log in) to spend on customization.

You will have the option to take control of multiple teams. PLEASE DON'T.

You won't be able to set your team name until day 2, but once you do so please choose a new city and come up with a fun, clean mascot/identity. Ignore the geography of the individual divisions - I may rename them.

Your team will be classed as "unowned" if you do not log in for 3 consecutive days. At that point someone else may claim it. However, in the spirit of understanding that people have real lives please announce if you want to drop out, or if you are unable to log in and your team will be released or protected accordingly.
