Tell him the good news Eugene!
No, you tell him, it was your idea.
Okay, first the bad news. I got rid of all your factory videos. That's the bad news! You ready for the good news? Okay, here it comes. I took Eugene's advice, I used the channel name, I hope you don't mind, and I made a couple of videos for ya, what did I make, I made a train thing, I made a house decorating thing....
He just made you 10 million views!
10 MILLION VIEWS!!! WOOOHOOOHOOOHOOO! YAAAAHAAAAHAAAA!
10 million! 10 million! 10 million views!
If that weren't splendid enough in its own right, this little ole channel will likely cruise past 40,000 subscribers in the next week.
Gosh. Crumbs. Crikey. etc
Milestones are great because they act like a pat on the head along with some encouragement to do more. These are big chunky numbers, and yes, they're meaningless on their own but it feels good, and therefore I shall persist.
Right then, let's get a schedule on the grill shall we?
Tue: Soviet Republic
Wed: See below
Thu: Transport Fever
Fri: See below
Sat: Soviet Republic
Sun: See below, and Motorsport Manager series 3, end of season (backer exclusive)
Mon: Transport Fever
This is the new format for releasing videos, and it's working nicely so far.
I'll provide proper insight into what's coming on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday each week once I'm a little further ahead of schedule. Prior to my holiday I was usually 3-4 videos ahead of what was booked in. I'm currently recording to (sometimes) go live the same day, and that's not good.
The three video slots that aren't reserved for my core series will be used to feature new games, or single-shot videos that I think you'll either find relevant or entertaining (ideally both). If there's a game that is particularly suited to my normal viewers, not than any of you fine people are normal, I'll put out multiple episodes.
One-shot videos, like Garden Flipper last week (which you should watch, because it's good) take a lot longer to record and edit but they provide a palette cleanser in between the constant fights for financial survival that exist in Transport Fever and Soviet Republic. They also allow me to edit my end results a little more - giving me the opportunity to actually improve my commentary and editing, and possibly reach a few new viewers.
When I don't have a game cued up for a particular day I'll add an extra Soviet Republic into the mix, as I expect the series to run for quite some time (a caveat here - as long as people continue to watch it).
In the mixing pot for this week's non-series videos, Train Sim World and Cities in Motion 2 (coming to you courtesy of a ScaleAbout request).
Right, that's suitably vague, let's go play the Yankees!
