Definitely agree with Soviet rep- TF2 cross over - watched some of Party Elite - but as your episodes proved it really needs a good cynical cold war Citizen Bumson commentary to keep it interesting to watch. Looking forward to more of those!

As you were talking during the earlier part of the video, I was thinking that the stuff you used to do with Steggs was enormously enjoyable for me to watch. Lo and behold, your news at the end was like an early Christmas present. I look forward to your antics in spintyres - they were some of the funniest videos that I thought you ever put out

Richard Williams

Watching your TPF2 videos, and referencing your thought that the game is a bit easier than TPF, I wonder if that is quite true. Starting in 1850 1, (unless you use the pork barrels) and seemingly 2 start slowly as you struggle for cash until effective trains become available. Once this happens, and you start earning real revenue, then certainly in TPF1, you start making money faster than you can spend it. The difference seem to me, and I am only basing this on your TPF2 series so far, is that the ability to stop time progression, allows you to soldier on with the earlier vehicles for long enough to start making some money and have a reasonable bank balance for expansion. In TPF 1, you are by then in the late 19th or early 20th century, whereas in your current series you are still in the 1870's.

I wonder if same thing will happen with TF2 as have with Cities Skylines. Regular gameplay only attracts few people but the mass comes with the fancy builds and making the map pretty. Sandbox features have been developed hugely and once mods start to arrive more, I'd say it could happen easily?

Personally, for whatever reason, the Prison Architect series is more of a binge watch thing. I happily consume the TpF2 episodes daily (Want another fix, but I'll live), but a lot of the backer series are more of a binge watching thing for me. I sat down and watched most of the Kerbal series in one go and enjoyed it immensely.

I have 3 things to comment on... 1. Twitch streams... they work for some but not for others. I, for instance, can't watch anything on Twitch because my internet is so darned slow you'd think I was back using dial-up. And sometimes it just stops altogether. Twitch doesn't work for me. Just letting you know, not saying don't do it. 3. Steggs... oh yes. Really looking forward to more of your nonsense. 2. A new game for really long term... well, Herself has mentioned Sims and I have agreed. Enough said. Other than this, I always enjoy most of what you give us. Some things I don't bother with, but most I watch and shall keep watching until something happens to make me not enjoy it any longer... I don't see that happening anytime soon though. Oh! And 4. The intro... I try not to look at it.

Regarding persistent characters, it's a fabulous idea, and something that's been kicked around lately. But having a 'brand', of persistent characters, will do no good if people aren't watching the videos (as you admitted with the sports videos). And to argue a point you made, I mostly watch videos of games I do not play, I average 2-3 hours of video watching a day, and most of them I do not own, nor will ever own. The ones I do own, I play, not watch someone else play. The series that made me a true CF convert: Spintires Mudrunner Coop. So good news to hear about Steggs. Its a wonderful dynamic you two have. Watched the entire series. Twice.

Please be careful with City Skylines. Biffa has lost my support because that’s all he does. I stay with you because of TF.

Don’t need more exclusives.

Just my experience with the exclusives as I am a bit of a Luddite. I watch Youtube through a Smart TV app - can't sit through watching on a PC or tablet. Only just figured out that if I start the video in Patreon then it will add it to my history on the TV so I can watch it. Appreciate I am a bit weird in that regard.
