Sh-sh-sh-schedule

There is a debate to be had over the correct pronunciation of schedule. Is it "shhh" as in Scholl, or "sk" as in school? I invite you to argue among yourselves in the comments. Personally, I alternate and that is the best of both worlds. I am the Locutus of English pronunciation. Resistance is very much optional.

This week's line-up (playing it safe there) is rated in terms of the likely number of throwaway pop culture references:

  • Lowest: Transport Fever 2
  • Moderate: Super Mega Baseball 2, Soviet Republic, Prison Architect
  • Highest: Farming Simulator
  • TBD : As yet unnamed additional game

Now ranking the same titles in order of number of videos:

  • 3 : Transport Fever 2
  • 2 : Soviet Republic
  • 1 : Super Mega Baseball, Farming Simulator, Prison Architect, Additional Game

Finally, the likely day each video will appear:

  • Thursday, Saturday, Monday : Transport Fever 2
  • Tuesday, Friday : Soviet Republic
  • Wednesday : Farming Simulator
  • Sunday : Super Mega Baseball, Prison Architect, Additional Game

Post-script, the likely schedule changes:

  • Farming Simulator moving to Friday.
  • Transport Fever 2 moving from Thursday to Wednesday.
  • Soviet Republic moving from Friday to Thursday.
  • Additional Game turning up at almost any time. Except Tuesday or Wednesday.

Also possible is that nothing is shown on Wednesday.

This is the schedule you aren't looking for. You can go about your business. Move along.

Well. The CBC says "shedule." So it must be so....

I'm an 'sk' pronouncer... but I don't mind however others say things so long as I can at least reasonably decipher what it is they're trying to say. It makes communication just that much easier. :) As for the line-up... as in any good police show, I shall have to look the culprits over carefully.
