The Battle Plan 12 July 2021 (Patreon)

What is "normal" service anyway?
Well, I believe what the viewing people have come to expect is a new video every day. Probably an ongoing series from Monday to Thursday, a train-related or simulation adventure on Friday, then something odd and unappreciated (despite is representing some of your better commentary) on a Saturday, and then a load of old madness on Sundays, plus baseball.
As much as I don't disagree with anything you just wrote, I was thinking in a more abstract fashion. Here we are, 7 years into this adventure and, sure, we've got 60,000 of the nice subscribing people and we're about to roll past 20,000,000 of the views.
That's an alarming number.
Yes, it is. But I'd rather it didn't take another 7 years to reach the next big ole milestone of 50M.
Not this again.
No, not this again. I've got a scheme that evolves what we're doing now.
You say that...
Look, we're going to run through the Soviet Republic - a 16 or 20 episode blast should do the trick - then we'll keep it going on one episode per week, and Transport Fever will be back for 1 episode per week. That's it. That's the plan.
Not much of a plan.
That gives me the choice to either blat through other games super fast or stick out 1 video that I've edited into something magical.
Choice. You're talking about choice.
The first battle plan I designed was quite naturally perfect, it was a work of art, flawless, sublime. A triumph equaled only by its monumental failure. The inevitability of its doom is as apparent to me now as a consequence of the imperfection inherent in every video, thus I redesigned it based on what had worked before to more accurately reflect the varying grotesqueries of the recording process. However, I was again frustrated by failure. I have since come to understand that the answer eluded me because it required a lesser mind, or perhaps a mind less bound by the parameters of perfection. Thus, the answer was stumbled upon by another, an intuitive thinker, initially only tolerating this caper. If I am the father of the dozerverse, she would undoubtedly be its mother.
Seamless.
I know right?
Anyway, what was the upshot?
She said I should make what made me happy and that by doing so it'd have a really good chance at making other people dig it too.
Sound.
Yeah. So I'm keeping the fires lit on what a lot of people first tuned in to see, but then looking for stuff I like, stuff I find amusing and, given the opportunity I'll edit and polish and what have you. Make one of those videos I'm really pleased with afterwards.
Yes, so you wanna schedule this up one time?
Well, I was going to go save Trinity, but sure.
- Tue: No video this week as I'm AFK
- Wed: Soviet Republico
- Thu: Soviet Rep
- Fri: Train to the Sim World
- Sat: Rising Star (the final episode in the season!) and Sportsball (Electrosports) and Bannerlord (live, it's gonna be a good one)
- Sun: Baseball (Electrosports) and Pantsworld (backers)
That completes our roundup. I'm now going to go into a somewhat boring aerial fight against Agent Smith who's managed to clone himself. Yeah, should have left it at one film. Sure, the other two had their moments but had it been left at one it would be regarded as an all-time great. Like The Thing. NO. THE THING DID NOT HAVE SEQUELS/PREQUELS/REMAKES OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT RUINS ITS PURITY. IT IS A REMAKE OF A RED SCARE PARABLE FROM THE 50S AND THAT'S FINE BECAUSE IT IS SUBLIME AND JOHN CARPENTER MAY WELL BE GOD.
Thanks,
