Hello there.
Time to bring you up to speed on the latest to-ings and fro-ings from Maison Failure.
First of all, we'll be in a no-live-stream mode this weekend as I'm off and away misbehaving somewhere. I'll keep 10p in my pocket in case I need to call my mum. Ron and the gang will be back in action next week (is it bad to say that I'm looking forward to Ron's death? Not to end the series, but because I want to see who takes the helm of the clan.)
Second of all, the Mainline is fun isn't it? I'm loving it so far, and am really hoping it stays stable enough to be able to get a second lap done. I think the first lap will be fine, but the detailing will be what sets it apart. Onwards! There'll be a live stream in December at some point where we'll watch a bunch of bits of the network do their thing.
Next week sees the return of Farming Simulator, and I'm planning to stick with it for quite some time. I'm optimistic that this works for you. If it doesn't, it should. When my farming videos were good, they had the exact right mix of progress and anarchy. To get ahead of the curve, no I won't be playing it multiplayer. Not yet.
So, what's coming up? Let's see...
Colonel Failure
- Tue: Transport Fever 2 Mainline
- Wed: Transport Fever 2 Mainline
- Thu: One and done (it's quite disturbing)
- Fri: Not sure at all. I'm auditioning a couple of games. It'll either be one and done, or a three parter.
- Sat: Same as Friday - either another single-shot or the continuation.
- Sun: Same as Saturday. Or nothing. Nothing is possible.
- Mon: Transport Fever 2 Mainline
Electrosports
- Wed: ESAFL - into October and pushing for top of the league
- Thu: ESFL - Sportsball Union vs Sunshine Funbus and Beekeepers vs Failurewood Hills
- Sun: ESBL - Bulldozer Power take on Peninsula Transport
Backers
- Wed: Reduced
- Fri: New series
I may need to scale my output a little in the future but I'm on top of things for now. It's good.
Red Line Fury is in editing and is coming along. It's taking a goodly length of time to complete because I've a lot to learn about the amount of camera angles needed to make a TV broadcast style race video. I don't want to simplify the action but in order to keep these appearing in a timely fashion I may have to. I'll probably go ALL IN on the first one then simplify later unless it goes bananas. Even if it doesn't, the first real season will see the introduction of phase 2 features and more contracts. The second season will add phase 3 features. The third will complete the basic feature set to phase 4. Beyond that will depend on the number of people playing and my enthusiasm to keep going.
What do you mean none of that makes sense?
It will do. Except it won't. But will.
Action!
