Hello friends I'm Colonel Failure and this is the Car Mechanic Simulator.

Now, what I hear you asking is, hey Colonel (cos that's my name) I've got loads of cash in the Car Mechanic Simulator, I've done loads of repair jobs, restored cars from the junkyard, done barn finds, been to auctions, tune up high performance ninja machines and frankly, there's nothing I can't do. How can one such as I, who a total legend at this car mechanicary help in terms of finding a fresh new challenge that may actually be impossible?

Well, I reply, as luck would have it I've just such a challenge for you to undertake. I'm undertaking it, and I think it's going to be a whole lot of fun.

Before we get to that I'm going to create a whole new save for just this purpose. Bear with me for two or three hours and I'll lay out the scheme direct to your hungry facebox.

That's the script (I wrote a script) for this Friday's Car Mechanic Simulator video entertainment. I had the idea for this back in December, did all the gameplay type stuff in January but have been sitting on it because it doesn't have a punchline. You'll see what I mean when you watch the video (hint: watch the video). The challenge is really good fun, but I reach a point where I don't know how to proceed. Hmm. I might know how to proceed, now I think about it, but it's not exactly ideal and is very much a short term solution... we'll see how it goes. Should stimulate some conversation anyway.

What else is going on?

  • Wed: Mercury Fallen
  • Thu: Mercury Fallen
  • Fri: Car Mechanic Simulator
  • Sat: Settlement Survival (end of series for reals this time)
  • Sun: Mercury Fallen

Transport Fever is back next week as will be a fresh series. Seems ole Mercury hasn't captured much attention at all so I'm going to shred it and move onto something I think you fine people will enjoy. Enjoy it, fine people.

I'm also going to put together a 3 and done on Let's Build A Zoo for backing type folk. If you're a backing type folk you're welcome to watch it. If you're not a backing type folk brace yourself, here's an advert...

If you become a $1 (Patreon only) backer today you get access to...

  • The Fail Brigade (whoop whoop) Discord
  • 30 episodes (3 seasons) of Motorsport Manager
  • 20 episodes of Dyson Sphere Program
  • 26 episodes of Prison Architect
  • 30 episodes of Rimworld
  • 5 episodes of Pantsworld, King of Retail
  • 4 episodes of Satisfactory
  • 3 episodes of Cepheus Protocol (thanks very much, early access with a janky interface)
  • 1 episode of Flight Sim World

If you decide that $5 or more (either on YouTube or Patreon) is more your speed you get all of the above plus:

  • 70 episodes of The Colonel Reduced (a monthly vlog dating back to May 2016)

Don't just sit there. It's less than either a loaf of bread if you go cheap or an expensive coffee if you go less cheap or a house if you go not-that-cheap-at-all-really. Sure, that gets you a month in The Brigade and you might not want to leave afterwards, members are currently playing Minecraft, 7 Days To Die, Civ6, Football Manager, Transport Fever, Farming Simulator and I've just opened signups for the next Stellaris stream. Then there's chat about RPGs, spaceships, survival games... oh, and Electrosports galore. If you have an abundance of time you'd like to fill with "fun" we'll fill it.

Until next time He-Man,

-Skeletor, out
