So, let's pick up where we left off shall we?

I've still a queue of Getting To The Work Back Again This Is The Incredible to contend with, and that's fine by me. I think the ideal would be one or two of these per week, but while they keep rolling in I'm going to keep making them.

I'll be honest however, my productivity isn't where I want it right now. Finding motivation is far harder than it was last year - for obvious reasons - but the GBTW and Transport Fever series are proving to be no difficulty at all to make. Fire it up, crack on, talk bollocks. Perfect. I do have another couple of series' planned and when enthusiasm musters I'll likely get them done immediately for consistent release when a window in the schedule opens.

In Reduced this month (yes, this is for backers only so please consider this an advertisement) I'm going to talk about a couple of big-but-on-reflection-obvious learnings I've made this year regarding YouTubery generally. It'll be interesting for those considering a trot down this path for themselves. Yep, that's clearly evidence I've hung around with marketing people for too long.

Let's go schedule.

  • Tue - GBTW "Owning Stuff" with House Flipper
  • Wed - GBTW "Metric vs Imperial" with Derail Valley
  • Thu - GBTW "Pizza" with Gas Station Simulator (aha, here it is!)
  • Fri - Transport Fever 2 Metropolis. Game save, map and modlist will be made available
  • Sat - Nothing this week, as I'll be watching the Women In Gaming Awards on Twitch
  • Sun - Super Mega Baseball 2 (on Electrosports)
  • Mon - GBTW haven't decided which yet

I've got a dozen GBTW's in the queue right now. If you're still waiting, don't fret, I'll get to it. I would send the completed video to you immediately but that requires a video to either be unlisted or public - I can't have it scheduled, and I'll be honest, scheduling these to go live ahead of time has proved to be jolly efficient. I've asked Wisio to provide an "it's in progress" option to reply to people with. Nothing yet though.

Right, a quick word on Ronny Bongos. After a couple of streams I'm getting the sense of being about "done" with the game in a streaming sense. The standard odds and ends are still fun but I'm approaching the "no new stories to tell" stage quite quickly. I think I'll aim to wrap the series up when Ronald passes into the great beyond. That will leave it suitably open if I fancy doing Bongos - The Next Generation at some point in the future.

I'm open to suggestions for a replacement series for the stream. I could bounce around different games easily enough, but I rather enjoyed Planet Crafting on stream, for example. Something not-too-twitchy would be poifect. Regardless we've probably at least 2-3 more Bannerlords to come. Ooooh, maybe that'd give me time to put my 7 Days To Die plan together for Fail Brigade (I'm going to be mean to FB on stream, they'll love it).

That'll do.

I found the Planet Crafter streams to excellent and I would enjoy seeing more. As you remarked, the game provides an excellent framework for conversation and engagement.

"Death of the Title Character" seems like a natural stopping point for the Ron Bongos saga. I just hope it's glorious somehow.
