Apocalypse 2 : Electric Boogaloo (Patreon)

After a great deal of server config wrangling, help desk referring, map uploading and general wailing, the 7 Days to Die server is going to be restarted.

Everyone will be set back to level 1 and the world will be all shiny and new/chrome.

While it's a real shame to lose what we'd built over the past month or two, this is a fresh start and the chance to do a better job.

Here is the plan:

- I will start the server between 20:00 and 21:00 GMT today (basically, as soon as I get home).

- I will prepare a "starter chest" for every player. It will include a big chunk of wood, stone, fiber, forged iron, fertiliser and clay to help you get up to speed a little faster. You don't have to have it, but the option is there.

- We will set up a "central" base to replace the bunker to help players get established, but the goal will be to occupy a building each in the city. This time, rather than starting from the inside of the city and working out, we'll start on the outside of the city and work inwards. All will become clear.

- I'll select the base location, but we'll all be involved in creating it. It will be my one piece of acting like a diva.- Remember the golden rules of the server:

1. We are playing as a team. 

2. Respect doors and containers locked by other players. 

3. Don't wreck or take other people's stuff.

4. If you take anything from the shared resource in the main base, it is your responsibility to replace it. This is a lending library, not a handout.That is all. Sorry the progress is gone, but new adventures await.
