I think you are very much right in your interpretation of how things are going, even if it seems like another huge setback having lost your job after just turning down the interview for another one. Do what feels right in your heart, and concentrate on your own projects. As for putting stuff on new channels: I've been watching analytical videos about the Ukraine war on a channel that used to do gaming videos (standard let's plays) before. After the guy got started with those videos, the amount of subscribers exploded on his channel (he went from 1k to now 390k), but he still wanted to keep doing gaming videos as well because he enjoyed it. He decided to move out his significantly less successful gaming videos to their own channel. This seems to have worked out fine for him, since he's now got 32k Subscribers on his new gaming channel as well. From the new subscribers he gained, there probably happened to be a significant amount of them who also enjoyed his gaming content, so in the end he boosted both types of content he produced. Not sure if this can be 100% applied to your situation, but I'd try putting everything on the main channel and see how it goes.

Thanks Jeff for illustrating exactly how loot boxes work.

Doesn't a channel also need 4000+ watch hours before it can be monetized?

Appreciated this one, lot of good insight. Thank you.

Colonel if you need another pair of hands, I do general web development and shopify store stuff in my real-world professional life, and I'd be honored to help you out pro-bono. (I'm one of your thousand true believers!)

To show my appreciation for all your great work, I decided to forego a second over-priced cup of coffee and increase my support level.

Re: Conversion of people to failstore (and the cult of failure) in replacement of other services for additional content. Forcing people over may not be viable but when available while closing down altogether may be hard some heavy promotion in reduced and some additional sub bait like a minor fixed value discount or a free unique physical badge included with your first merch order if subbed over there might help push enough over to remove one. I don't doubt for a badge or similar some true believers will contribute on all 3 platforms. No doubt all things already considered.
