Hello gang,

As you know already I've been chewing on the rationale concerning my game choices in the past few weeks, and I believe I've found it.

Why is this important?

It's important, and this ties into several Reduced mutterings I've done in the past because of the audience my channel has. Over the couple of years I've been making videos I have tried to maintain thematic relevance between the games I've covered. That theme, broadly speaking, has been management gaming. The logic here is that moving between games I would hopefully have a thread of interest for the subscribers already signed up; rather than lose the attention of people because they didn't care about the game, I'd maintain a decent level of followership.

By and large this has worked so far, although clearly trains still reign supreme.

With my love of survival games and the introduction of 7 Days to Die, Bad Company came into being in full, but it was a very loose affiliation with my channel's core ideas, Then Train Sim and PUBG series both gaining good traction (and being fun additions) the "management game" agenda looked at me with a scowl - I was clearly off message.

So, do I junk the deviations or change the message?

I change the message, obviously, but to what?

The answer, it seems, has been staring me in the face: adapt more military activities to go with my military rank and unwitting freedom fighting force of patrons.

Simple - here's the new theme...

We spend our time alternating between logistics and exercises.

This won't ever be an even mix, Colonel school made me the logistics professional I am today, so that will clearly come first (currently 5 videos per week covering management and transportation with 2 days of live fire exercises) but it allows the more gun-centric nonsense to have a place too.

So what does this mean for you fine viewers? Actually, not much. I'll be continuing as I have been, but I want to restate a couple of goals:

- There will always be at least 1 multiplayer game on the go for Bad Company folk. I'll be in there as often as possible - I have a 7D2D big event in mind to round out alpha 15, and I'll be back in like a bandit for A16.

- One series/stream per month will be decided by Bad Company from a choice I offer.

- Colonel-level backers get to pick a series of their own, the first of which I'll be getting underway next week.

I have time to produce 7 videos per week (mostly) but I want to stay true to what I hope is the kind of material you guys enjoy. Rethinking the channel theme allows me to stay focused on the games that make sense.Right. That's that. Get back to work.

It's always good when the leader shares a plan that the rest of the team can follow. :) Even though I don't watch or play the military games, I can see that in those there is still strategic planning. I hope your streams will always be uploaded to YouTube later because I can't watch them live. We live pretty much in the middle of nowhere and our internet isn't all that great but at least I can watch things on YouTube okay. It's the streaming that our internet can't handle. LOL Anyway, it's good to hear that you've sorted things out in your mind. Now relax and have fun.

This sounds like a plan I can get behind. I really should check out 7D2D to see if it's something I would enjoy, either watching or participating. I absolutely love (LOVE!) spectating your PUBG videos, but I'm positive it's not something I'd enjoy playing on my own--I'm just not much of an FPS gaming kind of guy.
