Tangled Masquerade - WIP (Patreon)

I'm joining a fan event this month hosted by xannerz & birb called the Tangled Masquerade, and the grand ball will be on the 31st, so here's a WIP of my contribution. I wanted my piece to be Phantom of the Opera-inspired, given the masquerade theme, with a touch of spookiness since it's spooky season after all.

My idea for this is that during s3, Corona hosts a masquerade ball, and everyone is invited—except Cass. At some point, Raps looks at one of the mirrors in the castle, and sees Cass inside, inviting her for a dance, the same way that the Phantom is in the other side of the mirror that Christine looks at and lures her in. But is it just a hallunication from Raps or is it really her?

For the masks/outfits, I wanted Cass & Raps to both have matching bird imagery. So Cass gets an owl mask while Raps gets a bird mask with the same colors as her bird form in the Freebird episode. I wanted Cass to have a one shoulder cape and a military-like suit, while Raps gets a 16th century Renaisssance era dress (I'm no history buff nor am I going for historical accuracy, I'm just going off purely on vibes)

I'm excited to see how this will turn out in the final, so I will see you at the ball on the 31st~
