Hi!

I've been thinking about it for a while now. Three years ago, when I first started developing Lust Hunter, I didn't know how big the game would become or how interesting it would be for you. So I chose the Renpy engine because I knew the python as well.

Renpy is a very good engine, but now I can see how Renpy limits my development possibilities. So for the past few weeks I have been thinking about porting the game to another engine.

But I think about several problems:

1) Migrating saves from renpy to another engine

2) The amount of time spent on porting the game to another engine

3) How do you feel about it?

If questions 1 and 2 are difficult but manageable, then the question 3 can only answer you.

How would you feel if I ported the game to the Unity engine?

I will develop the game at the same pace, releasing three updates a month. But at some point I will release a Unity version.

Write a comment what do you thin about it.

How do you defrost the frozen slime key?

Please no. Unity games don't work on my PC or my tablet... :(

I can agree this game would look loads better on a new engine, and you can only get as creative as what you currently run it on so upgrading would do loads better for it, however I do love the game as it is so if you do decide too just don't rush it or overload yourself. I've seen many games fail cuz the developers tried to much at one time. Love the stuff just don't break yourself mentally 👌

unity is a quite stable engine i feel.

Its a Secret

As long as I don’t loose whatever I’ve already done and it works for Mac I don’t care.

i say whatever you think would be best for the content and gameplay. It does seem like, for this game, Renpy may not be the best engine, though it does run well already.
